Abstract: Background: The Pediatric Early Warning System (PEWS) has been validated for using in pediatric acute care settings for early identification of children at increased risk of physiological deterioration. Also, it can be used in caring children's post open cardiac surgery for early detection, prompt management of deteriorating domains and consequently improve their clinical outcomes.
