Abstract: Background:Birth preparedness and complication readiness (BPCR) is the way toward getting ready for ordinary birth and anticipating the actions needed in case of an emergency occurrence Aim: The present study aimed to assess birth preparedness and complication readiness among pregnant women attending antenatal clinic at Menyet El-Nasr Central Hospital. Study design: A descriptive research design was followed. Setting: The study was conducted at antenatal clinic at Menyet El-Nasr Central Hospital from the period of February 2019 to Augast 2019. Sample type: A purposive sample was used. Study sample: 197 pregnant women who were attended to predetermine setting according to inclusion and exclusion criteria.
