Country | : | Egypt |
Authors | : | M. M. El-zaidia || M. H. Wasfy |
ABSTRACT: Thin amorphous films of Se85Ge15-xBix system, where (x = 0, 5, 10, 15, at %) were prepared by alloying the spec. pure raw materials using the common melt quenching technique, then using the thermal evaporation technique to form the required thin films These films where checked by XRD and EDX to ensure the amorphous structure and composition of each sample. The optical parameters, (Transmittance T, Reflectance R) and the optical constants (Refractive index n, Extinction coefficient k, Absorption coefficient 𝛼 , were studied at the wave length range from 400 – 2500 nm.

Title | : | Structural, Morphological and Optical Properties of CDO: Al Thin Films Prepared by Chemical Spray Pyrolysis Methode |
Country | : | Iraq |
Authors | : | Ramiz Ahmed Al-Ansari |
ABSTRACT: Structural, Morphological and optical properties of CdO and Al doped CdO thin film were presented in this work. The Cadimium Oxide (CdO) semiconducting films are deposited on glass substrate by the chemical spray pyrolysis(CSP) method. The crystalline structure was studied by X-ray diffraction (XRD) having found the presence of the CdO cubic phase. The calculated values of absorption coefficient are in the order of 104 cm-1. The value of direct band gap has been found to decrease from 2.5 to 2eV with increase of Al doping concentration.

ABSTRACT: The FT-IR, FT-Raman and SERS Spectra of 1-Chloro 4-Flurobenzene (C6H4CLF) have been recorded in the range 4000-400cm-1, the optimized geometry,frequency and intensity of the vibrtional bands of C6H4CLFhave been obtained by DFT levels of theory with complete relaxation in the 6-311**G basis sets. A complete vibrational assignment, aided by the theoretical frequency analysis, has been proposed. The vibrational frequencies calculated are compared with experimental FT-IR and FT-Raman Spectra. The observed and calculated frequencies are found to be in good agreement. A detailed interpretation of the infrared Raman Spectra of C6H4CLF is also reported based on mulliken population analysis distribution. The calculated HOMO and LUMO energy gap shows that change transfer occours with in the molecule.

Title | : | Analytical study of Unsteady Magnetohydrodynamic Chemically reacting fluid over a vertical porous plate in a Darcian Porous Regime: A rotating system |
Country | : | India |
Authors | : | Nava Jyoti Hazarika || Sahin Ahmed |
ABSTRACT: Analytical solution for unsteady Magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) flow for a rotating vertical porous plate immersed in a Darcian porous Regime in presence of first order homogeneous chemical reaction is presented. A uniform magnetic field is applied transversely to the porous plate. In this investigation, the fluid is considered to be of viscous, incompressible, electrically conducting, laminar and Newtonian with periodic heat and mass flux. The Non-dimensional governing equations have been solved by the Classical Perturbation Technique and their analytical solutions are presented through graphs. It has been observed that the primary velocity (u) decelerated with the increase of chemical reaction parameter (Cr). The skin-friction of the primary velocity is raised by the effects of M or K0. Practical interest of such study includes applications in liquid metal cooling in Nuclear Reactor, Magnetic suppression of molten semi-conducting materials and in many branches of Engineering and Sciences.

ABSTRACT: We have evaluated the form factors in VVA triangle diagram for on-shell electrons of finite mass m using Modified Pre-regularization method. From the result the behavior of the form factors for different values of axial vector momentum has been discussed and found the magnetic moment and anomalous magnetic moment.

Title | : | Using Spreadsheets and Computer Simulation to Approximate π |
Country | : | India |
Authors | : | Katoch S K |
ABSTRACT: The role of information technology has been quite instrumental in the field of pedagogy. The use of Spreadsheets and computer simulation to understand the basic concepts of physics and mathematics has created powerful impact. From the pedagogical constructivist point of view it is important to select appropriate physics experiments. Combinations of motivational teaching techniques result in an upgrading of students' motivation for physics education. In this article, the use of spreadsheets and visual basic for applications in class room environment is presented to understand the approximation of universal mathematical constant π. In the class room teaching, the value of π is simply thrown at the students irrespective of where it comes from. Moreover, the graphical illustration of the problem shows a way to increase students' appreciation in the class. A simple practical device is fabricated to simulate this activity in the lab session.

ABSTRACT: The wet chemical route of co-precipitation method synthesized Iron oxide nanoparticles (IONs)
dispersed in anionic dispersion was used in this study. XRD confirmed Fe3O4 phase and estimated nano size by
Williamson Hall plot method. The M-H loop from SQUID showing very low coercivity, linearity for a very small
applied field and good saturation magnetization in an anionic aqueous dispersion. In the dispersion, IONs are
tending to aligned more with its easy axis than in powder form. The effect on magnetic properties has been
explored in the study.

Country | : | India |
Authors | : | Simhadri Radhika || MattaKeshavulu Goud || Rodda Sayanna |
ABSTRACT: We propose the use three-zone complex pupil filters to shape the intensity profile in the focal region of an optical imaging system to enhance its resolution.The enactment of these filters has been examined in terms of transverse resolution by means of PSF, spot size and position of first minima and intensity of first optical side-lobe. It has been observed that the presence of these filters enhancing the resolution of an optical system beyond the diffraction limit.

ABSTRACT: copper(II) phthalocyaninetetrasulfonic acid tetrasodium salt (CuPcTs) organic thin films which are prepared using spin coating on ITO/glass with speed rate of 1000 rpm for 1 min at different annealing temperatures (298, 373, 423, 473) K and then characterized byX-ray diffraction, atomic force microscope (AFM) and Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscope (FESEM),. The obtained results indicatedthat they had a polycrystalline structure with tetragonal of lattice parameters are a=b=17.37A0, c=12.79A0 and β=900. The prefer orientation of thin films is (001) plane. The average crystallite size decreased with increasing annealing temperature. This result was supported by morphologies measurements as in AFM and FESEM indicate the same behavior as in XRD.
