ABSTRACT: Zinc Oxide (ZnO) thin films of 150 nm thickness were prepared by electrostatic spray pyrolysis and subjected to gamma irradiation of 5 Gy, 10 Gy and 15 Gy dose. The as-deposited and irradiated films were subjected to XRD, SEM and UV-VIS spectrophotometer characterizations. XRD pattern of as-deposited and irradiated ZnO thin films were amorphous hexagonal wurtzite structure with preferred orientation along (100) plane. The SEM images exhibited aggregated nanosized particles with visible voids and the exposed ZnO thin films become more and more uniform with fewer voids. The optical band gap and energies band tail of localised states of ZnO thin films decreases with increase in gamma irradiation dose.

Title | : | Synthesis and Characteristic of Aluminium-Graphite Composite |
Country | : | INDIA |
Authors | : | Mr. Mukesh Kumar |
ABSTRACT: It is known that aluminium and its alloys are of low modulus and medium strength. In order to improve the modulus and strength the composites are made by adding reinforcement in the aluminium and its alloys. Reinforcement can be in fibre form as well as in particulate form. Both have their own advantages. Fibers provide greater strength than particulate while particulate provide isotropic properties. In the present work. MMC has been prepared by reinforcing graphite particles of 50-350 ASTM size range into the base matrix alloy.
Keywords: Reinforcement, MMC,X-Ray Analysis, Tensile test, Deep drawing test, drawability.

Title | : | Spin Transport through a Quantum Dot under Magnetic Field in the Presence of Spin and Charge Bias |
Country | : | Iraq |
Authors | : | Mohannad M. Merzoq || Jenan M. AL-Mukh |
ABSTRACT: In this work , we study the transport properties for a quantum dot under magnetic field, embedded between two normal leads in the presence of spin and charge bias .We use the theory of Keldysh non-equilibrium Green's functions technique when the correlation energy on the quantum dot is in the strong interaction limit. We derive model calculation to calculate the occupation numbers on the quantum dot , the spin and charge currents following through it and the differential charge and spin conductance as a function of spin bias. All the spin transport properties are discussed as a function of spin bias. We conclude that the spin transport properties of the device considered in our work are determined by the magnetic field and the spinbias.

Title | : | Nature and Properties of Light and Radiation: Corpuscular Sphere Theory |
Country | : | India |
Authors | : | Padiga Chandrasekhar Reddy |
ABSTRACT: A new theory has been developed for the nature and properties of radiation which is the modified corpuscular theory and named as corpuscular sphere theory of light and radiation. All the properties of light and radiation like the phenomenon of diffraction and interference inverse square law, photoelectric effect and relativistic mass are clearly explained by the present theory with number of new deductions.

Title | : | Squeezing in the Sum and Difference of the Field Amplitude in Parametric Down Conversion Process |
Country | : | India |
Authors | : | B. K. Choudhary and D. K. Giri |
ABSTRACT:We studied squeezing in the sum and difference of the field amplitude in parametric down conversion process under the short-time approximation based on a fully quantum mechanical approach. It is shown that for uncorrelated modes the normal squeezing in the sum and difference-frequency field depends on the sum and difference squeezing of input field modes respectively, which can generate normal squeezing in the sum and difference-frequency field mode. We shown that if the high-frequency mode is in a coherent state and the low-frequency mode is squeezed...........

ABSTRACT: We have investigated Bianchi type VI0 cosmological model with the matter bulk viscous fluid coupled with electromagnetic field in general theory of relativity. To obtain the deterministic solution of Einstein's field equation, by assuming a relation between metric potential n A C further some physical and geometrical properties of the model are also discussed.

Title | : | Synthesis of mix Zinc oxide and Cadmium sulphide Nanoparticles, Optoelectronic and antimicrobial activity and application in Water Treatment |
Country | : | India |
Authors | : | Jayanta Barman || Farhana Sultana |
ABSTRACT: In the present study we report the synthesis of mix Zinc oxide and Cadmium sulphide nanoparticles by a chemical route. The obtained nanoparticles were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and UV–VIS absorption. The studies confirmed the nanometer size particles formation within the polymer matrix. A UV-VIS optical spectroscopy study was carried out to determine the band gap of the nanocrystalline mix Zinc oxide and Cadmium sulphide thin film and it showed a blue shift with respect to the bulk value. The synthesized nanoparticles showed interesting optoelectronic properties and tremendous antibacterial activity and can be used for water purification.

Country | : | India |
Authors | : | S.Sharmila || B.Janarthanan || J.Chandrasekaran |
ABSTRACT:The composite material nickel doped lithium manganese oxides has been prepared by simple molten salt method to enhance the electrical property. X-ray diffraction pattern of the material revealed the formation of cubic spinel structure with fd3m space group. The presences of functional groups were identified by FT-IR spectrum. The formation of sub-micron sized polyhedral shape of the particles was studied with the help of SEM analysis. Electrical studies were carried out using HIOKI LCR meter for wide range of temperatures (100oC-400oC) and maximum conductivity has been obtained as 7.01 x 10-5S.cm-1 at 400oC.
