Abstract: Background: Lasers have become an increasingly investigated adjunct to conventional chemomechanical root canal preparation, with proposed benefits including enhanced microbial reduction, reduced postoperative pain, and preservation of dentin structure. However, several wavelengths and delivery systems — diode, Er:YAG, and Nd:YAG — are used interchangeably in the literature despite differing photophysical mechanisms and clinical indications.

Abstract: Background: Zygomatic implants (ZIs) have been a proven treatment modality for atrophic edentulous maxillae without bone grafting. While there are numerous reviews in the literature on the surgery-related and biological complications, the prosthetic complications related to the use of ZI implants have not yet been extensively reviewed. This study aimed to categorize and estimate the prevalence rate of prosthetic complications occurring in ZI implant-supported restoration.....

Abstract: Injuries due to dog or cat is very common in India but the incidence of fox bite is very rare. Alogorithm of its management is also very controversial due to limited data available in literature. As per available literature the wound characterized by tears, abrasion, puncture, avulsion or crush injury types. So it is very challenging to a surgeon to manage this type of wounds as there will be chance of rabies and associated other bacterial infection. Here we are going to present a case of 68 years male having category 3 wound due to fox bite at a village at Murshidabad, West Bengal....

Abstract: Purpose- A systematic synthesis of evidence evaluating the effectiveness of Low-Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) on temporomandibular joint disorders (TMDs) across multiple systematic reviews is essential in order to remove any ambiguity in clinical decision-making regarding non-invasive treatment modalities for TMD management. Thus, the purpose of this umbrella review and meta-meta analysis is to evaluate the efficacy of low level laser therapy on.....

Abstract: Background: Soft liners are used in removable prosthodontics to improve patient comfort. Their surface properties may be affected by disinfecting agents. Incorporation of titanium dioxide (TiO₂) nanoparticles may influence these properties. This in vitro study evaluated the effect of guava leaf extract and tea tree oil as disinfectants on the surface roughness of TiO₂ nanoparticle-incorporated soft liner. Materials and Methods: Thirty specimens of TiO₂ nanoparticle-incorporated soft liner were divided into three groups (n = 10): distilled water, tea tree oil, and guava leaf extract. Surface roughness was assessed after immersion. The.....

Abstract: Managing severely resorbed edentulous ridges presents profound biomechanical challenges, particularly maxillary weight-induced bone resorption and mandibular instability caused by muscle dynamics and gravity. This case report details a specialized prosthodontic rehabilitation for a patient with severe vertical and horizontal ridge resorption, utilizing a dual-strategy approach. The maxillary complete denture was fabricated using an innovative glycerin soap technique to create a lightweight hollow-bulb prosthesis......
