Title | : | Analysis of H-Plane Tee Junction Formed ByS and X Band Wave Guides |
Country | : | India |
Authors | : | P.Ujjvala Kanthi Prabha || G.S.N.Raju |
Abstract:Many researchers investigated admittance characteristics of standard and nonstandard rectangular wave guides with slots in one of the walls i.e. either broad wall or narrow wall. The analysis of longitudinal slots in the narrow wall of wave guide is available in literature. However,No literature is available on inclined slot in the narrow wall of coupled junction of two waveguides of different bands. From the knowledge of admittance characteristics, the new coupling method provides additional design parameters for the designer.

Country | : | India |
Authors | : | Sudha S || Kanmani Ruby.E.D || Janani E || Catherine Nivetha.B |
Abstract: Student satellites are launched with an objective to have hands on experience for students to design, implement and realize the space mission. BPSK modem is designed for telecommand receiver of the satellite. The transmitted signal from transmitter is received back efficiently using BPSK modem. Costas loop is designed to self correct the phase and frequency error of the recovered carrier signal observed in squaring loop demodulator. This paper represents the simulation of BPSK modem using squaring loop and costas loop in MATLAB simulink. It is observed that there is a delay of 2 sample units in the received signal using BPSK demodulator.

Title | : | Solar Chimney Power Plant with Collector |
Country | : | Egypt. |
Authors | : | AminMohamed El-Ghonemy |
Abstract: The solar chimney power plant (SCPP) is known as a large scale power plant. This technology is applicable in desert areas, where solar radiation is good.Using a larger solar collector diameter, a greater volume of air is warmed to flow up in a higher chimney.This paper is directed to evaluate the performance of SCPP. A mathematical model was developed to estimate the following parameters: power output, pressure drop across the turbine, the max chimney height, airflow temperature & velocity, and the overall efficiency.....

Abstract:Prototype-based classifiers are usually clustering-based methods. Therefore, theyrequire a dissimilarity criterion to cluster the drill data and also to assign class labelsto test data. Euclidean distance is a commonly used dissimilarity criterion. However, theEuclidean distance may not be able towards give accurate shape-based comparisons of veryhigh-dimensional signals......

Title | : | Wave Propagation under Confinement Break |
Country | : | México |
Authors | : | J. M. Velázquez-Arcos || J. Granados-Samaniego |
Abstract:Propagationof electromagnetic waves has a strong dependence with the refraction index changes. When the media breaksabruptlyhis confinement properties and the evanescent waves turn to be travelling signals, we must adopt a different perspective to understand how are the new rules or which is the instrument to take into account new concepts that are playing an important role like resonances. May be, the natural way to realize this is by means of the Fredholm formulation.....

Authors | : | Prof.Pushkar Sathe || Jeffrey Arimboor || Vrushank Chawda || Shyamsundar Iyer || Akshata Dahate |
Abstract: In today's modern world, there is a need of an efficient and automated surveillance system for security in homes and offices .We realized that in existing systems, a lot of energy, bandwidth as well as memory is being wasted as video is captured and uploaded or stored continuously. So we have developed a video monitoring system where the cameras start recording only when the motion is detected, thereby saving both bandwidth as well as energy. The system also sends an alert SMS, followed by a missed call as soon as motion is detected and uploads the recorded video on cloud storage, which enables remote monitoring and saves manpower......

Authors | : | Younes KARFABEKALI || Mohamed ESSAAIDI |
Abstract: A novelsingle-feed circular microstrip antenna with reconfigurable frequency capability is proposed. This antenna consists of radiating circular patch surrounded by a ring, six switches, and two rods. Its dimensions are 80 x 80 x 1.5 mm3 and it is printed on a substrate with a thickness of 1.5 mm, and relative permittivity εr= 3. The proposed antenna is designed for IEEE 802.11a standard, the S band, and C band.

Country | : | India |
Authors | : | M. Sudhakar |
Abstract: Wireless mesh networks (WMNs) promise to increase high-speed wireless property on the far side what's attainable with the present WiFi-based infrastructure. However, their distinctive field options leave them notably prone to security threats. During this article, we tend to describe numerous varieties of refined attacks launched from adversaries with internal access to the WMN. We tend to any determine attainable detection and mitigation mechanisms.

Abstract: The solar chimney power plant without collector is a large-scale solar power plant proposed for future applications. It is so called energy towers power plant (ETPP). Its working principle is based on cooling of large masses of hot and dry air resulting in downdraft within a large chimney used to drive wind turbines for electricity generation. So, it is effectively applicable in hot and dry weather............
