Abstract: The energy demand and power consumption is going on increase day by day . The concept of harvesting new sources of energy is the need of hour . One of the ways of developing electricity can be with the use of piezoelectric materials .Piezoelectric material are electromechanical elements .When a mechanical stress is applied to piezoelectric material a voltage is developed across its ends. The voltage generated depends directly on mechanical pressure. Our project focuses on utilizing the generated potential from piezoelectric material into electrical energy which can glow street lights . A circuit containg piezoelectric disks is designed and inserted beneath the speed breakers. Speed breakers consist of mechanicals spring which are directly in contact with piezoelectric disks elements. PZT can be used as.............

Abstract: This paper presents an idyllic method for controlling the traffic in metro cities without disturbing the surviving system. Conventional traffic systems can be installed for a non-dynamic number of intersections with fixed counts of signal durations and are typically microcontroller based. The proposed system pattern is implemented on FPGA which offers many advantages over microcontroller such fast speed, number of input/output ports and enhanced performance coupled with low than ASIC design. The system not only provides the protection but also saves the time, money and provides the polluted free environment. This paper designed of intelligent transportation of system (ITS) using VHDL.........

Abstract: Watermarking is a process of inserting a secret message into a digital data for copyright protection. The digital data may be image, audio, video etc. Here, we have done invisible digital audio watermarking using a gray scale image as watermark. To provide security of original audio and for ownership protection such invisible digital watermarking technique is used. Here, the audio watermarking is based on DWT-DCT based Transform. To improve the performance of the audio the cyclic code is used as error correcting code and the Arnold Transform is also used. Hence, when the audio signal is copied then the hidden information is also carried in the copy. The performance of watermarked audio is calculated using Bit Error Rate (BER).

Abstract: In this paper, we introduce an architecture of pre-encoded multipliers for Digital Signal Processing applications based on off-line encoding of coefficients. To this extend, the Non-Redundant radix-4 Signed-Digit (NR4SD) encoding technique, which uses the digit values {1; 0; +1; +2} or {-2; -1; 0; +1}, is proposed leading to a multiplier design with less complex partial products implementation. Extensive experimental analysis verifies that the proposed pre-encoded NR4SD multipliers, including the coefficients memory, are more area and power efficient than the conventional Modified Booth scheme.

Title | : | Bandwidth Saving on ABIS Interface When GSM's Feature DTX is Enabled |

Abstract: This paper comprehends the analysis of Bandwidth saving on ABIS interface when the DTX feature is enable. This paper comprehends the analysis of RTP packets on Wireshark, when DTX is enable. As Global System of Mobile (GSM) with its feature DTX (Discontinuous Transmission) have recently commanded the attention of many researchers. Discontinuous transmission (DTX) is a method of momentarily powering-down, or muting, a mobile or portable wireless telephone set when there is no voice input to the set. This optimizes the overall efficiency of a wireless voice communications system and save Bandwidth on Abis Interface. In a typical two-way conversation, each individual speaks slightly less than half of the time. If the transmitter signal is switched on only during periods of voice input, the duty cycle of the telephone set can be cut to less than 50 percent. This conserves battery power, eases the workload of the components in the transmitter amplifier's, and frees the channel so that time-division multiplexing (TDM) can take advantage of the available bandwidth by sharing the channel with other signals

Abstract: Development of safety features to prevent drowsy driving is one of the major technical challenges in the automobile industry. Driving while in drowsy state is a major reason behind road accidents especially in the modern age. Driving when drowsy leads to a higher crash risk than being in alert state. Therefore, by using assistive systems to monitor driver's level of alertness can be significant to help prevention of accidents. This paper aims towards detection of drivers drowsiness using visual features approach.Driver drowsiness is detected in real time by detecting drivers face and eyes using HAAR-Cascade Classifier and Yawn detection based on Template matching. The system will provide an alert to the driver if the driver is found to be in drowsy state with help of an alarm.

Abstract: The Space Time Coding has proven to be an evolved research area in wireless communications. Recently, Space-Time Block Coding (STBC) has been trying to incorporate in the forthcoming generation of mobile communication standard with aims to deliver true media capability. This paper presents the Space-Time Block Codes (STBC) for wireless networks that uses multiple number of antennas at both transmitter and receiver to transmit and receive data over various channels (Rayleigh and Rician). The simulations have been done in SIMULINK. Different modulation schemes (DPSK and BPSK) have been adopted to check the performance of the system via Bit Error Rate Vs Signal to Noise Ratio.

Abstract:This paper presentsQoSaware seamless vertical handover system for video streaming over wireless network. When the user is moving, the signal strength varies which may resultin buffering of the video. Various modulation techniques are used for continuous streaming of video and to resolve this issue. OFDM technique is used for multi carrier transmission with modulation formats such as BPSK and 16QAM.The system modulator switches between the two modulation schemes depending upon the Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR).In order toachieve continuous streaming of video the video is compressed at the time of handover. Experimental results shows that the performance of the system is better.

Abstract: An Energy Efficient and high speed 10 Transistor with lector technique of full adder is proposed. The full adder consists of 10 transistors with only one type of logic style i.e., pass transistor logic style. The Low power and high speed full adder circuits are mostly used in portable applications. In comparing with the existing designs, the proposed design gives low power. The designs presented in this paper were simulated in CMOS 180nm and 45nm technology using Cadence tool, observed to have superior characteristics such as power consumption, power-delay-product(PDP) and layout area when compared to existing adders.

Abstract: Audio files are capable of hiding the data and identity of the owner which is called Watermark. We present a watermarking procedure to embed for copyright protection into digital audio by directly modifying the audio samples then audio signals are divided into no. of samples each sample is decomposed adaptively by the method of Empirical Mode Decomposition (EMD).those samples called as a Intrinsic Mode Functions (IMFs).The watermark and the synchronization codes are embedded into the extrema of the last IMF, a low frequency mode stable under different attacks and preserving audio perceptual quality of the host. We show the robustness of the hidden watermark for Time-scale modification attack. TSM is a challenging attack and can be used for watermarking. TSM is the process of either compressing or expanding the time-scale between two extrema (successive maximum and minimum pair) of the audio signal. The comparison analysis shows that audio watermarking on no attack and TSM attack watermarking.
