Abstract: Nigeria has been faced with incessant power outages as a result of poor communication between the country's electricity key players - Generation, Transmission, Distribution, System Operator, Regulatory Agency and Customers. This paper focuses on development of an appropriate communication framework for effective information flow between Distribution companies (DISCOs) and other directly linked actors in the wake of system deregulation and unbundling of the Nigerian electricity industry. DISCOs was selected because its critical role as the major and visible interface between the end users and other major sectors of the industry. In this work, a secured portal with requisite........

Abstract: Fiber to the home technology has become widely adopted because of its great capabilities. However, despite the great capabilities of fiber technology, it is vulnerable to accidental damage by contractors undertaking excavation works in the vicinity of the cables. Fiber cuts disrupt internet and telephone services that are a necessity in today's global economy. The research sought to identify the cause and implications of fiber cuts on stakeholders and recommendation on how fiber cuts by contractors can be prevented or minimised. The study identified four groups of stakeholders namely regulators, contractors, FTTH subscribers and FTTH service providers, then questionnaires........

Abstract: Wireless communication system have proliferated our lifestyle. These wireless applications have different requirements which depend upon frequency of operation and type of input signal. While most the wireless communication systems have a minimum of RF- modulator, filter, mixer, power amplifier (PA) and an antenna at the transmitter side. Designing of all these components is critical in almost all the wireless communication systems. Out of which design of power amplifier is very critical as the output power of the wireless system depends upon the ability of PA to amplify the low- power RF signal to the required level. In this paper, we have presented design simulation and analysis of single stage Ku band power amplifier based on 0.25μm GaN-HEMT technology. The ADS schematic of proposed PA consists of gain stage provides 10.9dBm for input power of 24 dBm at 15 GHz.

Abstract: Design modeling of vey high frequency interface in radar application has been an area of interest in recent past. Developments toward improving the performance of high frequency interface in radar design is been focused. Various works in this approaches were developed where focus were made on developing coding precision and performance improvement in terms of computing overhead and resource utilization. This paper present the past development in this area towards radar designing and interfacing in high frequency applications used for target monitoring. The developed approaches of radar interfacing using various approaches of signal processing and tuning operation is outlined. The past developments, and their possible enhancements were outlined.

Abstract: A Mobile Adhoc Network(MANET) consists of random moving nodes which are free to move throughout the network. Each node broadcasts the information to other nodes in the network through open air. To address the failure of data issue, this paper proposes a general cooperative multicast scheme CM(f, g, p, τ) with replication factor, multicast, cooperative probability, and packet lifetime. With this scheme, a packet from source node will be replicated to at most f distinct relay nodes, which forward the packet to its g destination nodes, and with probability p a destination node helps to forward the packet. Simulation result shows our proposed system achieves high throughput then existing system.

Abstract: The macro-strip antenna is an electromagnetic radiator which creates electromagnetic field. The main job of antenna the received electromagnetic waves in space into electrical currents in conductor or vice versa. It mainly depends on whether the transmitting or receiving the signal. This kind of antenna is able to deliver large communication distances but this antenna coverage is very weak which is part of the main drawbacks of these antennas [3]. The aim for the improvement in bandwidth with the presence of air layer substrate, the patch antenna can be used at different RFID applications since there will a bandwidth enhancement. Moreover, this research will be endeavouring the circular polarization for the patch antenna that could be well matched the detection..........
