Abstract: The bauxite mining site of the Compagnie des Bauxites de Guinée (CBG) concession in Sangarédi emits dust, affecting air quality and the health of nearby communities. The objective of this study was to measure the dispersion and concentration of fine particles (PM10 and PM2.5) emitted by mining activities related to bauxite mining, particularly blasting, transportation, storage, and handling of materials.
