Abstract: According to Gandhi, acquiring the right knowledge and all round development of body, mind and spirit should be the goal of our education. He is not in favor of the present–day system of education. Because the present- day system of education merely imparts instructions, or makes man literate. But Literacy or Capacity to read and write and accordingly simply acquiring degrees is not education according to Gandhi. It is only a means to it. Title | : | Al- Baraddouni's Poetic Sense: Insight of the Blind |
Country | : | Saudi Arabia |
Authors | : | Fatima Ali Al-Khamisi |
: | 10.9790/0837-2211081417 |
Abstract: It is a matter of fact that the five senses are intimately bound up with any type of art creation. This is due to the fact that any creation process goes through and comes back to the five receptors. Since eyesight is the dominant sense, one can imagine how losing it can negatively affect the value of any creative production. The recent paper is an attempt to examine samples of Abdullah Al-Baraddouni, the Yemeni Arab poet, in order to check whether his poetic sense manages to substitute his lost eyesight and to evaluate his visual images‟ effectiveness. This paper hypothesizes that the poetic sense of Al-Baradouni enables him to satisfy his poetic purposes and implicitly compensates for his blindness..............

Abstract: In the light of rapid economic growth and industrial progress in our country, it becomes imperative that safety and health at the workplace be given its due importance. All workers are entitled to work in environments where risks to their health and safety are properly controlled and a safe & healthy work environment is the basic right of every worker. Title | : | Has the advent of social media ended the culture of superstardom in Bollywood |
Country | : | India |

: | 10.9790/0837-2211084344 |
Abstract: Superstar as a term is synonymous with Bollywood. The glamorous world of Bollywood has witnessed the rise of several stars, making a mark with their talent, charm and charisma. While some manage to swoon the audience over their looks, there are some who sweep them off their feet and are tagged as the Superstars of Bollywood! From Dilip Kumar to Shah Rukh Khan, B-town has many names in this list of superstars. But lately, we only have stars. The culture of superstar has become redundant. Reason? May be the advent of social media. With easy accessibility and direct contact with a star over social media has brought down the curiosity that once existed around the film stars. The kind of stardom that has been enjoyed by the likes of Rajesh Khanna, Dilip Kumar, Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn, is missing with the actors of the newer generation.

Title | : | A Review of Literature on the Impact of Financial Structure on Economic Growth |
Country | : | Malaysia |
Authors | : | Obi, Chineze Eunice |
: | 10.9790/0837-2211085560 |
Abstract: This paper reviews empirical issues involved in financial structure and whether it matters for economic growth from Although Bagehot [1873] and Schumpeter [1911] who introduced the idea, the financial sector started to be considered important for economic growth more recently than capital and labor or technology. The study concluded that whether it is bank based or market based, legal or financial services based, there is no conclusive evidence on which type is better. The type of structure which works in one country may not work in another. The peculiarities of different economies determine the type of structure that works for them.

Abstract: This paper analyzes and compares female narrators in Canterbury tales to women"s status in England in the fourteenth century and aims to demonstrate that the female narrators and characters are representatives of women in that society, which was patriarchal and misogynist. The essay also contrasts women‟s characteristics and attributes to the male narrator‟s, in the Canterbury Tales, perspectives on women found in their prologues and tales, analyzing what the text reveals regarding the male narrators opinions or preferences as to admirable and desirable characteristics in women. It aims to provide answers to the following fundamental questions: how are the female narrators and characters represented? Does their status correspond to women‟s historical situation in the fourteenth century? Are the female narrators given their own subjectivity or are they merely the voices of the dominant order?............
