Abstract: The problem of Land transformation on food and livelihood security has been experienced not only in Kenya and Africa but all over the world thereby necessitating adequate research that is the problem of land size verses food security. Various studies that have been undertaken on general impacts of land sizes and use on livelihood security especially in Ghana and Rwanda have shown that fragmentation has adverse effects on the agricultural productivity. This has not been done in Nyandarua, specifically in Gatimu sub-location thereby resulting in a knowledge gap......
