Abstract: Background: The process of donating an organ involves retrieving biological tissue or an organ from a living or dead person and giving it to a living recipient who is in need.Multiple lives can be saved by a single donor. Organs that can be donated include the heart, liver, kidney, lungs, pancreas, intestine, cornea, heart valves, skin, bonemarrow, veins, and ligaments.There is no minimum age requirement for enrolling up or donate.The minimum age of consent required for an organ donor to donate his /her organs in 18 hours.
