Abstract: Home-Based Enterprises (HBEs) are a crucial source of revenue for a significant number of families in urban Owerri low-income residential settlements (LIRSs), and any improvement initiative may impact their survivability. As the formal sector's opportunities dwindle in many cities, the use of the home as a location for production and reproduction becomes more important, and homes in low-income settlements are frequently used for a variety of these income-generating enterprises.The HBE owners investigated in this research are drawn from the population of LIRSs........
