Abstract: Construction industries play a vital role in the economy of all developing countries including India. In any construction "Time and cost" are the two main concerns which decide the effectiveness of the project. Further, optimization of time and cost is also very vital. This has increased the importance of adopting time and Cost optimization in all construction projects. Optimization is a systematic effort made to ensure a reasonable profit margins and to obtain the best results under given circumstances or situations.......

Authors | : | S. V. Dewalkar || Govindraj Jadhav || Mohit Rapta || Akshay Shelke || Sagar Gaikwad || Nishant Shinde |
Abstract: Sustainability is not added on to conventional buildings but it lies in the approach of designing and constructing. 'Green' materials include those which are renewable and/or cause the least impact on the environment. The real estate industry is a significant contributor to global warming due to the extensive emissions of greenhouse gases (GHGs) from the materials use in building construction Thus there is need of green certification to satisfy consumer............

Title | : | Performance of Steel Fiber Reinforced Concrete under Elevated Temperature |
Country | : | India |
Authors | : | Deepthy.S.Nair |
Abstract: Concrete has been well known as a low cost building material with high compressive strength and versatility. Exposure of reinforced concrete buildings to an accidental fire may result in cracking and loss in the bearing capacity of their major components, columns, beams, and slabs,producing extensive surface cracks that penetrate across depth,possible spalling,upward cambering of surface and plastic deformation of reinforcing steel.

Country | : | India |
Authors | : | Dr.T.V.S. Vara Lakshmi || Prof. K. Rambabu || Prof. K. Srinivasa Rao |
Abstract: An attempt has been made to apply affinity theorem to determine collapse load of two-way orthotropic slab with long side opening symmetric to vertical axis. Keeping in view the basic principles of yield
line theory, all possible admissible yield line patterns for Continuous Slab (CS), Simply Supported Slab (SS),
Two Short Sides Continuous Slab (TSC), and Two Long Sides Continuous Slab (TLC) are considered for the
given configuration of the slab subjected to uniformly distributed load (udl). A computer program has been
developed to solve the virtual work equations............

Abstract: Nowadays world is focusing into automation in industrial field each and every work of human is reduced by machine. Machining is term use to describe a variety of material removal processes in which cutting tool removes unwanted material from a work piece to produce a desired shape. The objective of this project is to make Rough surface on Trestle box which will enables it to grip the jaws of Hydraulic jack to lift the heavy metallic sheets for making an storage tank with very less involvement of worker. So this project is aim to remove material from Trestle boxby different machining processes in order to reduce human fatigue, with increased quality of product.

Abstract: In this paper, the analysis of fluid flow around a 2 dimensional circular cylinder with Reynolds No of 200, 500, and 1000 with different angle of attack 00, 50, and 100 has been studied. In this simulation an implicit pressure-based finite volume method and second order implicit scheme is used. Flow has been studied with the help of Navier-Stokes and continuity equations. The pressure, drag coefficients and vortex shedding for different Reynolds numbers and different angle of attack were computed and compared with other numerical result that show good agreement.

Abstract: Emissions from the automobiles causes major damage to the environment. Carbon dioxide is one among the green house gas responsible for enhanced greenhouse effect.Fossil fuel combustion produces maximum amount of CO2. Reduction of CO2 from internal combustion engines is mandated to control CO2 emission. To overcome all these sorts, most of the automobile vehicles are employed with catalytic converter. As parts of our extended effort to control exhaust CO2 from automobiles, we have undergone a study of CO2 adsorption using modified ZSM-5 zeolite as a catalyst in the reactor................

Abstract: Infrastructure sector is a key driver for the Indian economy. The sector is highly responsible for propelling India's overall development and enjoys intense focus from Government for initiating policies that would ensure time-bound creation of world class infrastructure in the country. It deals with Roads, Railways, Urban infrastructure, Ports, Airports and Power. For such large projects, which includes large investments from government, highly skilled expertise is needed which ensures target completion of project by optimizing time and resources. This paper highlights various roles of a PMC in pre-tendering, tendering and post-tendering stage of a road infrastructure project starting from Client's requirement, conceptual alternatives, surveys and investigations, estimation to operation and closing stage.

Abstract: There are several procedures where the vibrations are necessary and their existence is limited. Thisdoes not apply in chip removal processing case as their existence is harmful and should be eliminated as much as possible. This article investigates cases of processing where high precision and surface quality are required and raising the chip removal system in order to increase the productivity and lower the costs.
