Abstract: The present experimental investigation research work are convergences on the depreciating qualitative tamarind seed oil with additive and its blends in a single cylinder, 4-stroke CI engine to evaluate the combustion, performance and emission characteristics. Five blend, namely Diesel, B20 (20% Biodiesel, 80% Diesel), B40 (40% Biodiesel, 60% Die sel), B60 (60% Biodiesel, 40% Diesel), B80 (80% Biodiesel, 20% Diesel), and B100 (100% Biodiesel), were utilized during the trials.
