Abstract: Caesarian section rate is increasing in both developed and developing countries. In Caesarian Section, surgical site infection is the most common postoperative complications with reported rates of 15%. Surgical site infection following Caesarian Section is a major cause of morbidity and mortality in women and it is increasing worldwide, in Saudi Arabia, 19.5% of the Surgical Site Infection is accounted to Caesarian Section.
