Abstract: Background : Poor pregnancy and childbirth outcomes such as still births, pre-term births, neonatal and maternal deaths are major global challenges. The outcomes of pregnancy may be good or poor due to interplay of many antecedent factors. From a retrospective approach, there is limited research evidence on factors influencing poor outcomes of pregnancy in the two teaching hospitals in Lagos, Therefore the goal of this study was to evaluate the factors influencing poor outcomes of pregnancy between 2015 and 2019 in the two teaching hospitals in Lagos State.
