Abstract: Purpose: Musculoskeletal symptoms in school going children are growing numerously in present context and are multifactorial in origin and heavy backpacks being one of them. Along with pain, posture is another important aspect which needs to be addressed as children are developing incorrect posture as a result of heavy backpacks.
Methods: This was a cross- sectional study done on 500 school going girls aged 10-14 years from the private and government schools of Belgaum city which included assessment of posture and musculoskeletal pain. The site of pain was assessed by using Body Diagram Chart, intensity of pain was assessed by Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) and posture was assessed by New York Posture Rating Scale (NYPR).................

Abstract: In total, 240 studies including serum T4, T3, TSH and thyroid uptake at 2 and 24 hours were performed in 48 Bangladeshi adult individuals (52% female and 48% male). The aim of the present study was to make a correlation between thyroid serum levels and radioiodine thyroid uptake values of same individuals. Serum T4 and T3 were assessed with commercially available radioimmunoassay kits and TSH with a highly sensitive immunoradiometric assay kits (Beijing Atom Hightech Co. Ltd., China). The uptake study was consisted of oral administration of 6 – 10 μCi of 131I as sodium-iodide...............

Abstract: The low level of patient satisfaction toward the hospital's treatment becomes todays Indonesian hospitals problem. The Physical supports such as dirty, cramped, messy treatment rooms, limited parking space, and other restricted means of supports (ATM, Shop, Canteen, etc.) commonly found at the hospital do not satisy the patient. In addition many of the hospital officers as the contact personnels perform under standard like being less firendly, unneat performance, complicating entrance procedures, and commonly being unpunctual. This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of physical support and contact personnel on patient satisfaction in hospitals................

Abstract: Rinary Diversion is indicated primar- ily for the management of bladder carci- noma because radical cystectomy remains the mainstay of treatment for this type of cancer. In addition, urinary diversion may be needed in patients with congenital malformations, neuro- logical disorders, and severe inflammatory dis- ease of the bladder. After removal of the diseased bladder, a transposed segment of the gastrointes- tinal tract is used for diverting urine flow. De- veloping a substitute for the excised urinary bladder has challenged surgeons for more than a century. Abstract: It is essential to have adequate anaesthesia, to carry out any surgical procedure. Anaesthesia is loss of sensation. Anaesthesia could be local, regional or general. General anaesthesia is the induction of a state of unconsciousness with the absence of pain sensation over the entire body, through the administration of anaesthetic drugs. Local anaesthesia is reversible loss of sensation over a small part of body. Regional anaesthesia typically affects a larger area than local anaesthesia. Many plastic surgery procedures involving smaller part of body, including primary suturing or reconstruction of skin defects by skin grafting, excision of skin lesions, hand surgeries are preferred to be done under local anaesthesia. Precautions should be taken to avoid toxicity of anaesthetic as well as administer it safely.

Abstract: The hemoglobin is a precious and has great significance in human life. Without hemoglobin human life is not possible because it is a great component of circulatory system to transfer of oxygen to all over body cells. The anemia may be develop due to the low content of hemoglobin and red cell count (RBC) and can create a severe problem in human beings. Anemia is generally caused by some infection, adverse effects of some toxicant, chemical/drugs, free radical (develop in metabolic reaction), some bi-product (pollutants) of motor – sprite as well as electromagnetic waves/ radiations and also genetic disorder...........

Abstract: The patient care in the operating rooms (OR) is delivered by a team. Nurse is the primary member of the team. A uniform practice among nurses will ensure standard of care. One important practice that forms the base in the prevention of infection is surgical scrubbing, gowning and gloving. The correct performance of these procedures help to protect a patient from infection. All members of the sterile surgical scrub team are required to perform a surgical hand scrub and don sterile gown and gloves before touching sterile equipment or the sterile field. The prevention of surgical wound infections has been a primary concern of the operating............

Abstract: Burn patients develop patho-physiological alterations, which include extensive nitrogen loss, malnutrition, markedly increased metabolic rate and immunologic deficiency. The degree of increase in metabolic rate appears to be directly proportional to the extent of burn injury. As a result of accelerated patients' metabolism the increased requirements for macronutrients as carbohydrates, proteins, fats and Micronutrients as vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. The study aimed to determine the effect of therapeutic dietary regimen on wound healing for patients with moderate degree burn. Abstract: Euthanasia is one of the problems that have been much debated, especially for the hopeless patients, such as children with cancer in advance stage. The current policy applied in the Medical Jordanian Constitution does not differentiate between active and passive euthanasia and it is general for all patients without regard to the restriction of age group, the special situation of children with cancer and developing alternative methods such as palliative care. The recommendations proposed in this paper are prohibiting active euthanasia, enhancing and developing special palliative care units for children with cancer and allowing passive euthanasia and palliative care to work together within the limits of the law.
