Abstract: Trenggalek is one of the regencies in East Java Indonesia that still encounter various maternal and child health problems, including very low exclusive breastfeeding practices (48,06%). Moreover, this regency has not yet reached the 2015 MDGs standard on exclusive breastfeeding (80%). Tarak tradition, a traditional diet to avoid longer puerperal period of up to 40 days, is practiced by mountain communities in Trenggalek and aimed at caring for postnatal women. Abstinence of food source of protein, such as chicken, beef, eggs, fish, and tempe (fermented soybean) and consumption of mainly staple food such as white rice and boiled vegetables are characteristics of Tarak practice. This study was...........

Abstract: Preeclampsia is a syndrome that comes on after the 20th weeks of pregnancy commonly manifested by "trias" symptoms of increased blood pressure, proteinuria and edema. Preeclampsia is the second leading cause of maternal mortality in Indonesia. Dr. Soebandi Hospital Jember as a referral hospital in Jember district recorded high preeclampsia incidence rate which potentially caused maternal death. In addition, preeclampsia also affects the growth of infants and children. The approach to dealing with preeclampsia is now focused more on the symptoms due to the uncertainty of the cause of preeclampsia. A commonly suspected cause is psychological factors of pregnant women. Stressful pregnant women stimulate the secretion of the cortisol hormone that punctures vascular vasodilation...........

Abstract: Given that infant mortality rate in Indonesia is still high, especially in Kediri of up to seven cases per thousand live births, immediate breastfeeding (ASI) is tremendously important for neonates. Relationships are very central to exclusive breastfeeding, breast milk as the only neonate intakes, at organizational and family level. Support from the mother's network of relatives, friends, and healthcare provider is likely to be important for breastfeeding success. This study seeks to determine the relational supports of family and healthcare provider with exclusive breastfeeding. The co-relational analytic design using cross sectional approach was opted involving the population of all mothers............

Well nourished patients have a more successful outcome than others, as they tolerate treatment adverse effects, require less disruption of treatment, or dose reductions, therefore the study aimed at assessing the nutritional status of patients with chronic hepatitis C treated with Sofosbuvir combined with Daclatasvir. Research design: A descriptive exploratory study. Sample: A convenience sample of 102 adult patients. The study was conducted at Sovaldi clinics at the National Hepatology and Tropical Research Institute from January to June 2016. Abstract: Background: Obesity is a condition of abnormal excessive fat accumulation in adipose tissue. Abnormal blood lipids associated with obesity have been firmly established as a risk factor for the development of cardiovascular diseases. Purpose: This study was conducted to compare the effectiveness of low level laser therapy versus ultra-sound Cavitation on fat thickness layer of abdominal region measured by ultra-sonography. Methods: Forty patients aged from 25-35 years and BMI (25-29.9) were assigned randomly into 2 equal groups: Group (A) received ultra-sound cavitation. Group (B) received low level laser therapy (632.8nm-16J/cm2). The modalities were applied for 30 min, twice weekly for 12 weeks in both groups. Both groups received the same diet program throughout the treatment period...........
