Abstract: Abstract: Background: Lumbar discectomy surgery is one of daily spine surgery performed. Patients complain from poor postures and/or movements that have exposed the spine to an activity to which it is not accustomed. Aim: The aim of this research was to study the effect of applying a nursing rehabilitation guide on outcomes of patients undergoing lumbar discectomy. Design: A quasi – experimental research design. Abstract: Basic life support (BLS) with cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) provided at the right time greatly improves survival following cardiac arrest. Effective and timely CPR reduces the likelihood of death following sudden cardiac arrest. Adequate knowledge and skills related to BLS are essential requisites for nursing students. Aim of this study was to assess effectiveness of educational program on the knowledge, attitudes and practices related to BLS among undergraduate nursing students of college of nursing in Jazan, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Abstract: A non experimental descriptive Study to assess the knowledge of staff nurses regarding first 24 hours care of patients with myocardial infarction in selected hospital of Bhopal with a view to develop self instruction module. The population was the staff nurses in working in JK Hospital Bhopal (M.P.). The sample consists of 50 staff nurses in working in JK Hospital Bhopal (M.P.). The subjects are selected by non probability convenient sampling technique. The tool comprised of knowledge questionnaires. The pre-test was conducted and self instruction module was provided to staff nurse. The data obtained was analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. In relation to self instruction module, the paired "t" test showed that, the SIM was statistically significant at p<0.0001 level in staff nurse. These data proved that the knowledge of staff nurse had been markedly increased after the provided of self instruction module

Abstract: The present study entitled "Assessment of Nutritional Status of ICDS Beneficiaries on Pregnant Women in Shillong, Meghalaya" aimed to find out, the nutritional status of ICDS beneficiaries pregnant mothers, to compare the nutritional status of the ICDS and Non ICDS and to find out the impact of nutrition education on the selected pregnant women by using Booklet and Pamphlet 5 areas of shilling. A total of one hundred and fifty pregnant women were selected from three Anghanwadi centres and three primary health centres for the study and were personally interviewed with the help of preset schedule. The anthropometric measurements (Height, Weight, and BMI) and clinical observation was taken.
