Title | : | Effect of Twelve Weeks Training on Selected Physical Physiological and Psychological Variables of Novice Hockey Players |
Country | : | India |
Authors | : | Arundhathi.Sasikumar || K V Ramesh || Araty Sasikumar |
Abstract: It is a fact that apart from other factors, the performance of an individual in any game and sports is mainly dependent upon physical, physiological and psychological factors. Every sports person should be physically, physiologically and psychologically fit to carry out daily tasks. Physical fitness is the result of regular physical activity, proper diet and nutrition and proper rest for physical recovery within the parameters allowed by the genome.

Country | : | TURKEY |
Authors | : | Mohsen Mohammadi || AhmetGökhanYazıcı |
Abstract: The aim of the present study was to the analysis of handstand movement in gymnastics by developing the dynamic model. One elite gymnast participated in this study.Seventeenspherical reflective markers were placed on the anatomical landmark of the body to represent the segments. The high-speed video based system was equipped with two cameras.Customized body segment inertia parameters were generated from anthropometric measurements by using the inertia model.Programming for inverse dynamics was by using MATLAB software..............

Title | : | Influence of Arm Motion on Spatio-temporal Gait Parameters and on Force Data |
Country | : | Italy |
Authors | : | Lorenza Angelini || Francesca Di Puccio || Thomas Zander || Hendrik Schmidt |
Abstract: Computational models of walking are not often coherent with experimental design. Although the upper extremities have an active role in human gait, their swing is often neglected or restricted in contrast with the experiments where the subjects are asked to walk freely. The purpose of this study is to assess differences on gait parameters and force data, comparing five arm swing patterns during walking. Motion analysis was performed on six healthy males, using a 10 cameras capture system and two AMTI force plates. Stride time and length, step time and length as well as ground reaction forces and free vertical moment were compared among groups.........

Country | : | India |
Authors | : | Mahipal || Dr. Kuldeep Singh |
Abstract: Runners are frequently used to worn various shoes during a training season. This study try to measure the significant disparity between barefoot running and normal shoes running conditions of sprinters in order to find out information about the potential effects of footwear on competitive runners. To achieve this purpose 26 male state/ inter-collegiate level of their age range 17 to 25 years were purposively selected as subjects from Haryana State, India. To collect the data different running related test has conducted i.e., 100Mts & 200 Mts. race to find out bare foot running and normal shoes running conditions effects, acceleration ability by 30Mts.

Abstract: The decrease in some physical qualities is quite evident with aging and inactivity. So, training programs should include functional exercises in order to keep body's good functionality. The proprioceptive stimulation is an essential component for functional training, as a key figure on stabilization and maintenance of balance, which is one of the most important physical capability for quality of life. This study aimed to compare the balance assessment results of people who practice Functional Training and conventional Resistance Training............

Title | : | Physiological Characteristics of Female Ethiopian Youth Sport Academy Football Players at Different Age Groups |
Country | : | India |
Authors | : | Tilahun Bereded || Prof.Paramvir Singh |
Abstract: The purpose of this study was to investigate physiological characteristics of Ethiopian youth sport academy femalefootball player across different age groups. The entire population was selected for participation in this study rather than a sample due to the relatively small population size (all N = 101, U15=40, U17=41 and U20=20) and ease of accessibility. Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) version 20 was used to analyze mean, standard deviation (SD) and one way ANOVA. The researcher was used indirect method of estimated maximal aerobic power to measure Vo2max capacity by covering Cooper 1.5-mile run, resting heart rate, blood pressure (systolic and diastolic) and Vertical jump to measure leg muscular power. Result dictates,Means and standard deviations of VO2MAX of the Ethiopian youth sport academy female football players of U15 (49.78 ±2. 46), U17 (50.83 ±3.19) and U20 (49.84±2.69) age groups are occurred.Moreover,............

Country | : | Turkey |
Authors | : | Hakan Sunay |
Abstract: The aim of the study is to compare the recreation programs of some United States universities with those of Turkish universities' and make an assessment about their standards, considering the need for raising qualified and educated recreation leaders in Turkey and effective qualifications for raising recreation leaders. In this framework, recreation undergraduate programs of 19 Turkish universities were examined and compared with the recreation undergraduate programs of some universities.in the United States of America. In conclusion, it has been found out that recreation education programs at Turkish Universities are more or less compatible, yet, there are some differences in the recreation programs examined at the universities in the USA.
