Title | : | How a Lifestyle Intervention Affects Physical Activity and Body Composition in Taiwanese Overweight Women |
Country | : | Taiwan |
Authors | : | Liarn-Rurng Wen || Hsuen-Ying Peng || Ching-Miin Duh |
Abstract: Background: Previous studies have reported that an increased amount of physical activity (PA) can reduce obesity and hence decrease the risk of chronic diseases. However, few numbers of researches used accelerometers to investigate the association between free-living PA and health promotion. In this study, accelerometers were used to investigate how a 6-week lifestyle intervention affects PA and body composition in overweight women. Methods: Fifteen overweight women (mean age: 46.1 ± 10.3 years) in the community participated in the study. The lifestyle intervention consisted of nutrition education and complex PA training. Accelerometers and body composition.........

Abstract: Diabetes mellitus is an endocrine disease characterized by elevated levels of blood glucose (hyperglycemia) continuous or intermittent. Is a serious public health problem, it has reached large proportions, both in terms of numbers people affected, such as premature mortality and disability. The physical activity has been indicated for the control/treatment off people with DM. The aim of this study was to assess the benefits and physiological effects brought by exercise, endurance and/or resistance in subjects with diabetes mellitus. For this literature, review was performed on a database with SCIELO and PUBMED articles published between 2009-2016, in Portuguese, English and Spanish........

Abstract:This study aims to identify and measure the extent of used technology in education and learning in the faculty of physical education in Jordanian universities. It also aims to investigate the effect of difference in experience at universities to use the technology. To achieve the objectives of this study, the researchers have designed a questionnaire to collect information and then analyze this data through software and then discuss the results. The study sample includes four public sector universities in Jordan and includes 83 lecturers. In addition, the study also shows the reality of the use of technology by the faculty of physical education in Jordanian universities. Furthermore, to refer to the series of recommendations for the development of the educational process in universities, is also one of the main goals of this study

Title | : | Study of the Structural and Optical Properties of Thin Films Copper Sulfide (Cus) Prepared by Chemical Spray Pyrolysis |
Country | : | Iraq |
Authors | : | Saleem Azara Hussein || Ahmed Hmeed || Amara Salah Hadi |
Abstract: In this research we deposited CuS thin films by chemical spray pyrolysis at substrates temperature equal to (190- 200 oC) . The composition of the prepared films consist of from solution of Thiouria (NH2)2CS (TU) with four molar concentration (0.03,0.04,0.05 and 0.08 M) and Copper Chloride CuCl2.2H2O with molar ratio (0.01 M) were deposited on glass substrates, the rate of spraying approximately (10 ml/s.). As deposition and annealed films were studied, the results of X-ray diffraction showed that the films were polycrystalline with Hexagonal structure ...........
