ABSTRACT: The present study involves the synthesis of Nd3+ doped ZnO nanomaterial by the zinc chloride and neodymium oxide chemical synthesis method. The synthesized nanomaterial was characterized with respect to their crystal structure, crystal morphology, particle size and photoluminescence (PL) properties using X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and PL-spectroscopy respectively. XRD results revealed that ZnO nanomaterial are single phase and spherical type structures.
