Abstract: The purpose of the study was to determine the difference in the effect of using the module on student learning achievement and to find out the difference in the effect of using the module on students' cultural awareness. This study uses a quasi-experimental. The population of this study was students of history education. Students who are used as the population are students who take Indonesian history education courses. There are two classes. Both classes will be used as control and experimental classes. The class is class A as the control class and B as the experimental class. The data analysis technique used the t-test. The results showed that the experimental class students who were taught with module learning materials had higher learning outcomes than the control class who used textbooks.
