Abstract: Notary is a profession that is not immune because the notary can be a suspect if he uses his position to commit a criminal act. However, in accordance with the principle of presumption of innocence, a notary who is a suspect must not be treated as a convict. This study discusses the protection and authority of a notary when determined as a suspect. The results of this study indicate that the status of a Notary as a suspect does not prevent the Notary from making a deed unless there is a ministerial decree to dismiss it. So a Notary is still authorized to make a deed if he is not on...........

Abstract: Background: Optimal adherence to antiretroviral therapy (ART) is a serious challenge for adolescents living with HIV. The poor adherence is associated with poor treatment outcome. Currently, adolescence is the only age group where HIV related mortality is not declining. This study aimed at determining the proportion of adolescents adhering to antiretroviral therapy (ART) and the correlates of non-adherence to ART. Method: A total of 85 adolescents were enrolled consecutively as they sought services at the Comprehensive Care Centre (CCC) of Murang‟a County Hospital. Interviews were conducted using an interviewer-administered semi-structured questionnaire. Chi square test was used to assess the associations between the dependent and independent variables.

Abstract: For the last decade the Moroccan language market has witnessedtwo major developments, among others. First theMoroccan mediascape offer has expanded in number and in language choice. Second the interest in language teaching and the language(s) of instruction has been growing from the part of official-making and educational circles—including the recently launched High Council of Education and Training. Naturally, language use, adaptation and development had to follow the course of these changes. Mother tongues and mother tongue maintenance in particular seem to have gained more popularity in the debate around languages and language policy. Although global languages are emphaticallysaid to enjoyhigh status and wide use, nowadays,in young educated speakersthis is rather an unexplored thus unjustified claim. But historically speaking there has been a tendency..........

Abstract: Islamic theology is one of the branches of Islamic science which is born before the fifth century of the hijriah and is a branch of science that is quite important for learners who learn about Islam which discusses the basic principles of Islam itself, even though this branch of science is in the treasures of classical sciences is the branch of science that is most attacked and forbidden. This science is better known in the Islamic world with the name of science kalam, the science of usuluddin, the science of monotheism or the science of aqeedah. Sir Sayyid Ahmad Khan, as well as classical theology scholars, referred to his theological concepts in the Qur‟an. All theological scholars agree that the Qur'an is the main source. The difference of opinion between them is on the interpretation of some of the verses of the Qur'an. Differences in interpretation are very possible because they have different methodologies for interpreting them..

Title | : | The Impact of Standard Arabic Verb Phrase Structure on Moroccan EFL Learners' Writing |
Country | : | Morocco |
Authors | : | EL Mansouri Hassan |
: | 10.9790/0837-2401086067 |
Abstract: The study investigated English verb phrases‟ (VPs) structural errors in the writings of Moroccan university students. It is believed that Arabic learners‟ syntactic problems in English VPs affect their writing proficiency. Most of the previously conducted research in this area ascribes learners‟ errors to the English and Arabic phrase structure variations. The participants were eighty semester two students of English at IbnTofail University. They are composed of males and females who havebeen exposed to Standard Arabcourses. On the basis of the elicited data, the study classified the participants‟ problems into three types of errors: omission errors, addition errors and mis-ordering errors. Secondly, the analysis of the data was limited to detecting participants‟ violations of the English VP structures.......

Abstract: The paper explores the need for politeness and particular language that promotes peace in daily communication. More particularly, the paper explores how Iraqi individuals who had encountered war share their insights into the factors that increase peace.Such polite rhetoric represents their inner serenity in the willingness to have a harmonious situation. The paper posits that people need to empower themselves to embrace peace and politeness language in daily interaction and avoid harmful utterances, in particular, when facing war situations.By exploring Iraqis‟ discourse, much can be learned about positive factors, attitudes, and utterances that construct peace. Drawing input from the in-depth interviews with fifteen male Iraqi individuals, the paper reveals the harmony sentiments and peace rhetoric in the interaction despite having encountered war in their country. Data were analysed using a discourse analytical approach. The results disclose varied factors the respondents use to frame their insights into the need for peace language in human communication.

Abstract: The main purpose of this study is to define and explain the concept of 'Orientalism' developed and practised by Edward Said, a pioneer postcolonial theorist. According to him, the concept of Orientalism refers to the western views about the Orient or the East. However, it has raised a number of debates among the scholars on defining his concept. It can be defined in three ways as: an academic field of study, an epistemological and ontological way of looking at the world and a western hegemony. It has also been the focus of a number of controversies and polemics such as crisis on Orientalism, its connection with western theories and the rise of Occidentalism. Many scholars agree with the fact that the publication of the book Orientalism is a beginning of postcolonial discourse.........
