Abstract:The material structure of Linear Algebra generally consists of 2 categories of material, namely matters relating to technical mathematics and abstract mathematics. For this reason, it is very necessary for students to have higher order thinking skills (HOTS) on the theoretical and applicable meaning of material such as the solution of a Linear Equation System, the skills to prove abstract problems such as General Vector Space, Linear Free, Stretching, Bases, and Dimensions. This study was conducted with the aim of analyzing the extent to which the Higher Order Thinking Skills of Mathematics students of......

Abstract:The purpose of this paper is to search the exact chirped soliton solutions of generalized derivative nonlinear Schrödinger equation which appears in many fields of physics as various nonlinear waves, such as nonlinear Alfvén waves in space plasma, sub-picosecond or femtosecond pulses in single mode optical fibers. Firstly, we apply a special complex envelope traveling-wave method to the generalized derivative nonlinear Schrödinger equation. Complex envelope traveling-wave solution is used to reduce the governing equation to an ordinary differential equation. Secondly.......

Abstract:An analytical study of energy transfer in flow of four different shapes of copper nanoparticles in ethylene glycol and water based fluids through a porous channel was carried out. The governing models which are Navier- Stokes, energy, concentration and continuity equations were non-dimensionalized and solutions obtained using perturbation method. Analysis of graphical and numerical results showed that increase in angular frequency, Schmidt term and chemical reaction, enhanced the concentration profile of the fluid while increase in radiation term, increases the temperature profile of the copper nanofluid but decreases the velocity profile of the fluid. Increase in the heat absorption term and chemical reaction term all depreciates the temperature and velocity profiles of the fluid.

Abstract: Financial market forecasting is one of the most substantial aspects of financial studies. It requires adequate knowledge of both fundamental and technical analysis of financial markets. In this study, we work on two different indicators namely Bollinger Band and Fibonacci Retracement to construct a new investing strategy. We try to combine these two indicators and attempt to develop the concept of Moving Fibonacci Strategy. In this proposed strategy, we try to eliminate the shortcomings of individual indicator strategy and calculate the return obtained from the strategy through R programming. We examine this strategy on NSE data.

Title | : | The African Roots and Contemporary Study of Complex Geometry |
Country | : | Columbia |

Abstract: Mainstream (Eurocentric) texts on Complex Analysis, including one of the most popular texts used in undergraduate courses on the subject (James Ward Brown and Ruel V. Churchill's Complex Variables and Applications) and one of the most popular texts used in graduate courses on the subject (Dennis Zill and Patrick Shanahan's Complex Analysis: A First Course with Applications) say nothing about the African origins and contemporary study of the subject. This paper seeks to fill a part of this gap by providing evidence on Complex Geometry gleaned from non-mainstream mathematical works. The thesis that underlies this paper is therefore as follows: Any study of Complex Analysis which ignores its African origins and the continuation of its study to this day will miss a very significant aspect of the subject. Thus, the essence of this paper hinges upon how autonomous evidences from different sources are marshalled into a cohesive whole.
