Abstract: Background: Academic achievement is considered the alarm button that pressed todays in each academic institution. A competent nursing workforce is important for an effective healthcare which intensified by the development of student's internal locus of control (LOC ) Aims: this study aimed to 1-assess the locus of control levels among the nursing students at Damanhour University 2- assess the relation between locus of control and academic achievement among the nursing students, 3- determine the effects of Internal LOC Development Program on the student's academic achievement level........

Abstract: Aim; to compare between duration of anterior cruciate ligament injury and quadriceps muscle response to rehabilitation regarding size and strength for patients undergoing anterior cruciate ligament surgery. Patients and methods; Non-equivalent control group design was utilized to conduct this study, The study sample,60 adult patients with an anterior cruciate ligament injury, patients were divided into two equal groups (30 patients for each), group one their injury less than 3 months and group two their duration of injury more than 3 months. Tools; four tools were utilized in this study; anterior cruciate ligament injured patient assessment sheet, the Short Form health survey (SF-12) scale sheet, the Modified Cincinnati Rating System Questionnaire scale sheet and exercise program........

Abstract: Introduction: Despite the scarcity of natural disasters, local terrorism, and other forms of disasters, they pose a major public health challenge when occur. Nurses should receive fitting training to identify, treat and possibly supervise local disaster preparedness initiatives. Insufficient resources have been allocated to the education that nurses receive in government hospitals. Aim: Researcher intended to assess nurses' perceptions toward disaster management process in Alexandria and Jeddah Governmental Hospitals.
