Abstract: Hepatosplenic tuberculosis is a rare form of extrapulmonary tuberculosis that can present with nonspecific clinical features, making diagnosis challenging. We present a case of a middle-aged patient with progressive jaundice and constitutional symptoms, initially suspected to have a hepatobiliary malignancy. Further investigation including imaging and histopathology confirmed the diagnosis of hepatosplenic tuberculosis. The patient responded well to standard anti-tubercular therapy. This case highlights the importance of considering tuberculosis in the differential diagnosis of unexplained hepatosplenic lesions, especially in endemic regions.....

Abstract: Background: Deep infiltrating endometriosis (DIE) involving the rectal wall is an uncommon manifestation that can mimic colorectal malignancy or inflammatory bowel disease. Early and accurate diagnosis is critical for guiding optimal management. Case Presentation: A 37-year-old female presented with a six-month history of pelvic pain and dysmenorrhea. Pelvic MRI revealed a hypointense lesion on T2-weighted images involving the anterior rectal wall, suspicious for deep endometriosis. Rectal.....

Abstract: Background: Environmental changes lead to shifts in temperatures and atmospheric conditions. It is the biggest global health threat and also the greatest health opportunity of the 21st century. Lack of knowledge and practice regarding climate change among health professionals, especially in India, was the drive for this study. Materials and Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted among medical students at Government Medical College, Saharanpur, for a period of three months. A total of 500 medical students participated in the survey. Data was collected using semi semi-structured questionnaire and analyzed using appropriate statistical tests. Results: Among 386.....

Abstract: Facial nerve schwannomas are rare, benign nerve sheath tumors originating from Schwann cells, comprising less than 1% of all temporal bone tumors. Their slow growth and nonspecific symptoms often result in delayed or incorrect diagnosis, with common initial presentations including hearing loss and ear fullness, frequently misattributed to middle ear pathology. They have distinct histopathological variants, each with unique morphological....

Abstract: Introduction: Laser (an acronym that means light amplification by stimulated emission of radiation) is a device that produces light beam that is monochromatic, coherent and focused, and which consists of a pure color that is usually invisible but converted into thermal energy can provide different therapeutic effect. The speed and efficiency of laser procedures are defined by the laser parameters, the surface area of the target and the speed with which the operator moves the hand of the camera, and therefore the laser beam (laser to conduct blow) on the surface of the target tissue....

Abstract: Lymphangiomas, typically congenital malformations of lymphatic vessels, are more common in children and rarely seen in adults. In this case, 51-year-old female presented with a chief complaint of right facial pain for three months. She had a history of trauma at one month of age and tuberculosis 15 years ago, for which she completed medication. Clinical examination revealed an asymptomatic, diffuse swelling on the left side of the face extending to the posterior triangle of the neck. Intraorally, the tongue appeared enlarged with multiple red, blue, and grey pebbles....

Abstract: Trigeminal neuralgia (TN) is a condition that causes severe neuropathic pain, impairing quality of life. Most cases are caused by compression of the trigeminal nerve, resulting in demyelination. The annual incidence is 4 to 13 cases per 100,000 people, making it a rare disease. Hashimoto's thyroiditis and Hashimoto's encephalopathy...
