Abstract: Orofacial harmonization is constantly evolving, seeking minimally invasive procedures that offer natural results with enhanced safety. This article describes an innovative nasal lift technique using Miracu® polydioxanone (PDO) threads, highlighting its predictability, safety profile, and anatomical advantages compared to injectable fillers. The technique eliminates the risk of vascular embolism and offers a safe and effective alternative for nasal uplift and dorsum definition, without major complications. Details of the sequential technical protocol are presented, with emphasis on anatomical marking, preparation, anesthesia, insertion, and observed clinical results...

Abstract: Iatrogenic microstomia is an under-recognised yet debilitating complication following surgical management of advanced oral submucous fibrosis (OSMF), particularly when postoperative physiotherapy is inadequately followed. We report a case of a middle-aged male who developed severe microstomia after bilateral fibrotomy with buccal fat pad reconstruction due to poor compliance with postoperative rehabilitation. The patient presented with markedly restricted mouth opening, compromised oral hygiene, nutritional difficulties, and psychosocial distress....

Abstract: Background: University life is a critical developmental stage characterized by increased academic, social, and emotional demands that can significantly affect students' mental health. Anxiety and depression are common in this group and are influenced by contextual factors. Understanding how sociodemographic and family variables affect students' emotional well-being is important for early identification of vulnerabilities. This study addresses these issues by analyzing the psychosocial profile of university students. Materials and Methods: Among 77 students, symptoms were assessed in relation to gender, age, socioeconomic status, alcohol...
