Title | : | Graphology for Farsi Handwriting Using Image Processing Techniques |
Country | : | Iran |
Authors | : | Somayeh Hashemi || Behrouz Vaseghi || Fatemeh Torgheh |
Abstract: Handwriting Analysis or Graphology is a scientific method of identifying, evaluating and understanding personality through the strokes and patterns revealed by handwriting. Handwriting reveals the true personality including emotional outlay, fears, honesty, defenses and many others. Professional handwriting examiners called graphologist often identify the writer with a piece of handwriting. Accuracy of handwriting analysis depends on how skilled the analyst is. Although human intervention in handwriting analysis has been effective, it is costly and prone to fatigue.

Title | : | A New Class of Ternary Zero Correlation Zone Sequence Sets Based on Mutually Orthogonal Complementary Sets |
Country | : | Algeria |
Authors | : | B. Fassi || H. Mimoun || R. Messaoudi || M. Addad |
Abstract: This paper proposes a new class of ternary zero correlation zone (ZCZ) sequence sets based on mutually orthogonal complementary sets (MOCS), in which the periodic cross-correlation function and the out-of-phase of the periodic auto-correlation function of the proposed sequence set are zero in a specified zone of phase shift. It is shown that the proposed zero correlation zone sequence set can achieve the upper bound on the ternary ZCZ codes.

Title | : | Investigations on Wideband U-Slot Microstrip Patch Antenna with Dielectric Superstrate |

Abstract: This paper presents the effect of the dielectric superstrates on bandwidth and gain of U-slot microstrip patch antenna without superstrate and loaded with superstrates. It is found that there is a degradation in the performance of the antenna when the superstrate is touching the patch antenna i.e the height of the superstrate above the patch H =0 mm. Further, it is also observed that the degraded performance characteristics of the U-slot microstrip patch antenna can be improved by placing the superstrate at optimum height (H) =Hopt.

Title | : | Multi Account Embedded ATM Card with Enhanced Security |
Country | : | India |
Authors | : | Katakam Swathi || Prof.M.Sudhakar |
Abstract: Automated Teller Machine (ATM) services are more popular because of their flexibility and easiness for banking systems. People are widely using their ATM cards for immediate money transfer, cash withdrawal, shopping etc. On most modern ATMs, the ATM card used by the customer for each bank account which is a plastic ATM card with a magnetic stripe or a plastic smart card with a chip. However, password PIN which is the main authentication for ATM transactions represent the weakest link in the computer security chain. In the proposed Multi Account Embedded ATM card, we embed more than one bank account into a single ATM card so that the customer can carry out the financial transactions for multiple bank accounts. The user need not carry multiple ATM cards and remember multiple passwords.

Title | : | A Novel Design of Cantilever RF MEMS Series Switch |
Country | : | India |
Authors | : | Shilpa G. Kulkarni |
Abstract: This paper presents novel design of various configurations of cantilever type Radio Frequency Micro Electro Mechanical Systems (RF MEMS) Series Switch. The paper emphasizes on study of Actuation Voltage of RF MEMS switches. Actuation voltages of uniform cantilever switches has been compared with cantilever switches supported on three bars (non-uniform switch) for various geometric configuration and material properties. It is observed from the simulation results that reduction in actuation voltage as high as 5V can be achieved by reducing the anchorage width. Also, use of mica with higher dielectric constant over silicon nitride as dielectric layer yields considerable reduction in actuation voltage.

Title | : | Implementing VPN over MPLS |
Country | : | Pakistan |
Authors | : | Engr. Awais Khan || Prof. Dr. Inayatullah Khan Babar |
Abstract: Now a day's communication network and its services are migrating slowly towards new and upgraded versions. Multi-Protocol label Switching (MPLS) is a key feature in new technology and it delivers new services from old network to a new network during migration and it has totally focused on new network topology. MPLS is capable of providing secure and reliable connection for costumers through Multi-Protocol Label Switching Virtual Private Network (MPLS VPN). This thesis describes the requirements and motivation for using MPLS VPN as a data center inter-connects technology. A comparison of Traditional VPN has been made with that of MPLS VPN and also VPN has been implemented over MPLS using Graphical Network Simulator GNS3. MPLS technology is being used widespread in the Service Provider (SP) networks for the deployment of residential, business, and mobile services.

Title | : | Testing and Loss Measurement Techniques in Optical FIBER for Healthy Optical FIBER Communication |
Country | : | India |
Authors | : | Shailaja B Gawade || Suresh B Mer |
Abstract: Practically in all kind of communication system, more or less losses are involved. To make the system more efficient, it is needed to identify and trace the faults & losses In optical fiber communication, optical time domain reflectometry (OTDR) is a commonly used technique for characterization and fault location of optical fiber transmission systems. It involves measuring the fraction of a probe pulse that is scattered back from a silica fiber. Because of the very small levels of backscatter in single-mode fiber at long wavelengths, very sensitive optical detection is necessary to achieve proper range performance. For uptime and efficient performance of fiber networks requires testing and evaluation at multiple stages. This paper include various testing methods for optical fiber such as continuity test, continuity of splice, splice loss testing, fiber loss testing , fiber quality testing, reflectance of splice and connector testing and loss measurement techniques such assplice loss measurement , detection of fault locations, insertion loss.This paper describesdifferent testing methods and the way to reduce the losses in fiber cable for the healthy communication.

Abstract: Today's world contain of a large variation of people. Mostly disability person is depends upon other for their living. But in the today's fast developing world, people is busy in work so that they don't have enough time for physically challenged people.The main aim this system physically challenged people can move inside the home without any trouble. In this system voice recognition system used for physical challenge people so person move from one place to another place with the ease. In the voice navigation system voice from physical handicapped match with the predefined store voice then the chair will move with accepted direction. According to the received voice, the wheelchair is automatically understood end point and the wheelchair moves according to the path which is predefined in system. Abstract: In the present work we have designed a two half-ring with half circular microstrip patch antenna for C-band applications. In the literature survey, some of the researchers has reported the rectangular, circular, triangular, ring microstrip antennas. But in these designs, the gain is limited and return loss is not upto the mark.To overcome these we have considered a two half-ring with half circular patch microstrip antenna at 4.1GHz and 6.5GHz with moderate return loss and gain.

Title | : | Performance Evaluation of Poly-Semantic Radar Signal For High Resolution Doppler Radar Target Detection |
Country | : | India |
Authors | : | Mohammed Moazzam Moinuddin |
Abstract: This paper addresses the problem of optimum waveform design for multiple target detection. The notion of polysemantic
radar, which gave improved performance through coincidence detection, is analyzed for high
resolution radar system in presence of high density additive noise and Doppler shift. These sequences are
optimized by employing Hamming backtrack algorithm (HBT). The detection capability of poly-semantic
sequences is further improved through coincidence detection of the return signal. The simulation results show
that the proposed sequences give improved robustness of noise and Doppler shift for HRR target detection
compared to conventional pulse compression sequences..
