Abstract: Résumé Aménagée suivant le modèle de zonage des réserves de biosphère de l’UNESCO à même de garantir une conservation durable de la biodiversité, la Réserve de Biosphère de la Boucle du Baoulé (RBBB) peine à assurer une conservation des unités d’occupation du sol dans les différentes zones en raison des pratiques inadéquates d’utilisation des ressources naturelles mises en oeuvre par les populations riveraines. Cette étude visait à mettre en évidence les différences dans la dynamique d’occupation du sol avant et après le zonage. L’analyse diachronique de l’occupation du sol réalisée à partir des images Landsat de 1987, 2000 et 2005 et à l’aide des logiciels ENVI4.7 et ArcGIS 9.3 a révélé une progression de 33 % des savanes boisées dans l’aire centrale au détriment du complexe de savanes arborées/arbustives et des surfaces nues imputable d’une part à la surveillance dissuasive,....

Abstract: It is vital to understand the geochemistry of arsenic in tailings and wastewater dams after the extraction of gold-bearing ores in nature. As a result, the levels of arsenic in the tailings and wastewater dams were examined. Using ferric sulphate as a coagulant, the removal potentials of high As concentrations in wastewater dams were investigated. However, the findings revealed that As levels in the tailings were higher than those in the wastewater dams.

Abstract: This study was carried out to determine the concentration of some heavy metals (Cu and Pb) in the muscles and liver of the red mullet Mullus barbatus obtained from three sites of Syrian coast during 2021-2023 was investigated (atomic absorption spectrophotometry). Abstract: The study x-rays the modelling and optimization of flours from blend of aerial yam, finger millet and pro vitamin A cassava flour. The experiments were conducted using the simplex centroid design, 14 formulations was obtained using mixture response surface methodology as the optimization technique. The formulated flour blends showed that there was significant difference (P<0.05) between observed (52.60) and predicted (54.57) values for glycemic index.
