Authors | : | Dr. Mrs. Anisa G. Mujawar |
Abstract:The history of human civilization is the history of the clashes between the oppressors and the oppressed. The oppressors oppressed and colonized the weak. For instance, the European colonialism tyrannized the people of their colonies in the world. It dominated and ruled them. The tendency to rule and oppress the weak is everywhere and prevails even today.

Title | : | The Example Of A Hero: A Deconstructionist Reading Of Eugene In Chimamanda Adichie's Purple Hibiscus |
Country | : | Nigeria |
Authors | : | Eyoh Etim || Ima Usen Emmanuel |
Abstract:This paper is a deconstructionist reading of Chimamanda Adichie's Purple Hibiscus. It insists that there are breaks in the internal logic of Adichie's Purple Hibiscus which allows Eugene, one of the central characters in the text, to be seen as an epitome of a hero; a principled protagonist who is murdered for being unwavering in his beliefs. This reading is necessitated by the perceived tendency observed in current criticisms on the text to interpret Eugene's character based on authorial meaning. Jacques Derrida's theory of deconstruction, which forms the central framework for this study, maintains that owing to the instability of meaning in human language, a text cannot have one possible interpretation, but rather is made up of several and often contradictory meanings. This is what this study reveals about the character of Eugene.

Title | : | Ideational Meaningof Wedding CeremonyinDeli Malay‟s Traditional Culture:A Multimodal Analysis |
Country | : | Indonesia |
Authors | : | Rahmah || T. Silvana Sinar || Aron MekoMbete || Eddy Setia |
Abstract: This research discusses the ideational meaning in wedding ceremony and applied the multimodal analysis to find out the meaning of the verbal and visual components.The methodology was observational and qualitative. The data sources includedboth verbal and visual texts taken from thirteen stagesduring Deli Malay'sTraditional Wedding Ceremony (TWC) and the results of the verbal analysis showed that there were clear correspondence betweenthe narrative structures and the visual analysis. The dominant findings of ideational elements related to the Material (process), Goal (participant) and Location (circumstance) and they were shown in the actions conducted by the participantswho were affected by the stages and the place. The results were then that the narrative structure consisted of four images realized in non-projective transactional action and reaction and in bi-directional realization while there were eleven imagesshowing projective processes realized by verbal processes in which the verbal was not communicated by the person who did the action (Actor) but by the person who reported the events (Sayer). The action images were embedded in the re-action images.

Title | : | The Use of Auditory, Tactual, Olfactory and Kinaesthetic Senses In Developing Orientation and Mobility (O & M) Skills to Learners with Congenital Blindness (CB) |
Country | : | Swaziland |
Authors | : | Dhemba Ishmael |
Abstract:This research paper attempted to study the importance of the multisensory approach in developing orientation and mobility (O&M) skills to learners with congenital blindness (CB). The research's focus was on the use of the auditory, tactual, olfactory and kinaesthetic senses. The research was made a case study, based on a qualitative and narrative inquiry approach. From the defined population consisting of learners with visual impairment, a sample size of six (6) participants was chosen. This comprised of three (3) pupils with congenital blindness (CB) and their three (3) teachers. Since this was a case study, purposive sampling was employed to get the participants. This was achieved by going straight to information-rich individuals, which Grinne (1993) describes, as those likely to be knowledgeable and informative about the use of extrasensory perceptions (as alternative to total loss of vision), in the acquisition of O&M skills. In qualitative research design, credibility, transferability, dependability and conformability are important validity issues to consider (McCleod, 1994).

Title | : | Effect of Work Motivation, Work Stress and Job Satisfaction on Teacher Performance at Senior High School (SMA) Throughout The State Central Tapanuli, Sumatera |
Country | : | Indonesia |
Authors | : | Slamet Riyadi |
Abstract: This study aims to 1) Determine the influence of the variables of work motivation, job stress and job satisfaction on the performance of a senior high school teacher SMA throughout Central Tapanuli, 2) determine the theoretical model that can describe a causal relationship between the latent variables that determine the performance of teachers. The study was conducted at the Senior High School (SMA) State in Central Tapanuli involving 230 teachers as respondents. Teacher performance data, work motivation, work stress and job satisfaction captured using a multiple-choice questionnaire. Research instrument first tested, ie to test the validity of the correlation product moment and to test the reliability of Cronbach Alfa formula. Data analysis technique is done in two stages, namely descriptive and inferential. Test requirements include the analysis of test data normality and linearity test data. Data normality test each variable using Lilliefors technique, linearity regression test between variables was performed using the F test statistic.

Abstract: The present study entitled "Designing women wear and accessories by using split- ply technique with different ornamentations" has been carried out with the objectives of providing a new design in bag, slipper, belt, top and jewelry to the customers. To attain these objectives firstly the survey was done to have a review over existing designs, shapes, color, embellishment and other consumer preferences regarding bag, slipper, belt, top and jewelry.After survey 5 products were decided to be sketched and made which were selected by own choice of the researcher. Then 15 design sheets were sketched with selected shape of bag, slipper, belt, top and jewelry. Then an evaluation was done with the sample group of BanasthaliVidyapith. Then 5 design sheets were selected by the respondents on the basis of 3-point rating scale for given parameters of evaluation.

Title | : | Civil Society and Economic Empowerment: A Case Study of Catholic Institute for Development, Justice and Peace (Cidjap) |
Country | : | Nigeria |
Authors | : | Chinedu C. Ike (Phd Salzburg) |
Abstract: The concept of civil society gained much prominence in the development debate of the late 1980s and 1990s. According to White's conceptual article, "civil society, democratization and development" (1994), he carefully brought out the competing, ambiguous, options in the definition and use of the concept. There is ambiguity over what to include as Civil Society and who can be seen to fit in into the concept. In addition, there is the question of categorization. For instance, does civic society institution such as state-regulated religious bodies, academic unions, and public sector interest groups whose members are state employees and, therefore, may be subject to special public rules and regulations fit into the definitional set.

Title | : | John Galsworthy's "Justice" (Effect of The Play on UK Criminal Justice System) |
Country | : | India |
Authors | : | Dr. Arti Ajabrao Chorey |
Abstract:Justice is powerful tragedy. It is a strong satire on the contemporary English system of law and judiciary. Galsworthy brings into light the glaring short comings and defects in the legal system of England. He says that law is a blind and inhuman process. Law does not take into consideration human psychology and innate human infirmities.
The British judicial system is unfair and unscrupulous. It is a malignant process and which innumerable innocent unintentioned men are victimized. The Chariot – wheels of the system of law continue to revolve furiously and innumerable innocent men are caught into them and crushed to powder. The prisons are like an ill fated ship in which thousands of prisoners perish.
