Abstract:Background: Jeneberang River in South Sulawesi, Indonesia,is one of the essential water resources for the community. With its stable flow discharge, the river becomes a drinking water source for one million South Sulawesi population. Nevertheless, over the last ten years, the river has suffered alarming environmental degradation.
Materials and Methods: Quantitative studies distribute 210 questionnaires to communities living in riverbanks, being upstream, central, and downstream communities. Correlation analysis uses the Structural Equation Model with the help of the AMOS Program.
