Abstract: Background: Stress is an unspecified body response to a demand. Stress has now become a part of everybody's lives across professions and countries. Pressure to achieve targets and cope with increasing demands induce stress among individuals. Teaching which was once considered least stressful job has changed vividly in the last two decades. Teachers experience stress due to varied academic & non-academic tasks performed them.
Methods: Apart from performing various academic roles, he/she is required to take up administrative roles too.
