Abstract: Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a neurodevelopmental condition that presents individuals with difficulties in various domains, including social interaction, communication, repetitive behaviors, and restricted interests (Maenner et al., 2023). This study focused on parents' perception of children with autism on their social QoL in Langata constituency, Nairobi. This study further addressed the following objectives: the perception of parents of children with autism on QoL, the influence education level and gender have on QoL of parents of children with autism. The study had a sample size of 100 participants. This study employed a descriptive survey research design. The theoretical framework used was an elaboration likelihood model. The data was analyzed using SPSS version 23 and the summary was presented in tables........

Abstract: Background: In many jurisdictions, consumer protection law has not been enacted despite the financial services industry's development. This means that in order to boost client confidence and promote the adoption of innovative products, financial services clients must have access to fundamental protections. The prevalence of uninformed customers who rely on financial institutions for their information has led to a rise in the misuse of consumer confidence. Abuse by banks and its marketers, such as imposing exorbitant charges on clients' accounts without providing formal advice, is becoming more widespread. The purpose of the study was to ascertain the measures taken by the Consumer Federation of Kenya to ensure adequate access to information by Kenyan commercial banks customers in an effort to ensure their protection. approach was taken to get in touch with the COFEK staff.....

Abstract: O uso de tecnologia na educação básica tem se mostrado crescente nos últimos anos. O presente trabalho analisa a produção bibliográfica sobre o uso de tecnologias na educação, focando nos níveis do ensino fundamental e médio, com o objetivo de identificar e compreender o debate de ideias nas publicações sobre o tema. Os dados foram coletados da base de dados Scopus. Os termos foram digitados em inglês e pesquisados nos campos de títulos, resumos e palavras-chave. O intervalo temporal estudado foi de 2010 a 2023. Realizamos três buscas, encontrando 2709 publicações na primeira, 176 na segunda e 99 na terceira, todas alinhadas ao objetivo deste artigo.......

Abstract: Active methodologies are the educational conception that enables the higher education student to be the protagonist of his learning. The present study aims to analyze the active methodologies that can be used in the context of higher education, aiming to facilitate and qualify the learning of students. Abstract: The expansion of Distance Education (DE) in the Legal Amazon represents an important advance for the democratization of higher education in a region marked by the vast territorial extension and the difficult accessibility to face-to-face educational services. This education model seeks to meet a pent-up demand from students who reside in isolated areas, offering a solution that circumvents geographical limitations and promotes inclusion. This article explores the expansion of Distance Education (DE) in Brazil's Legal Amazon, where educational provision faces socioeconomic and geographic barriers that make face-to-face access more challenging. Abstract: This research assesses rainfed agricultural production in the state of Pernambuco, which has 137 of its 185 municipalities officially characterized as being part of the semi-arid climate regime. The study classified rainfall periods in Pernambuco between 1944 and 2022 and investigated rainfall instability and its impact on aggregate productivity, aggregate harvested area and production value per hectare of bean, cassava and maize crops. The Auto-Regressive Integrated Moving Average model with Exogenous Variable Inputs (ARIMAX) was used, considering rainfall as an exogenous variable. The results showed that rainfall has a direct effect on the variables investigated, especially the harvested area.....

Abstract: There are many factors which shape people's compliance with laws. Through various studies it was established that the major factors shaping compliance with laws are morality, social pressure, deterrence and legitimacy. In different societies the factor shaping compliance with laws may vary. Early societies largely depend on morality and social pressure for compliance, whereas state centric societies depend on deterrence and modern Democratic Republican societies depend on legitimacy. In India, however, deterrence remains the dominant factor shaping compliance with laws despite India's long-standing democratic republican system. The people in India are often hesitant to follow their own government's laws......

Abstract: The research conducted by Merdeka and Merdeka Belajar Campus (MBKM) focuses on the socio-cultural identity of Gringsing of Bali and Bantenan of Minahasa traditional woven cloth. The unique patterns, motifs, and identities of these traditional woven cloths within Balinese and Minahasa cultures are explored. The research aims to identify and describe these fabrics' social and cultural identity through an explanatory, descriptive, qualitative approach. Drawing on the sociological theory of fashion and clothing by Diana Crane and Laura Bovone, the research seeks to highlight the distinctive styles and motifs of Gringsing and Bantenan woven fabrics. Additionally, the study aims to uncover the evolving philosophical significance of Gringsing and Bantenan woven cloth.......

Abstract: It is widely believed that improvement in education access leads to better employment statistics. India has defied this basic assumption when it comes to its Female Labour Participation Ratio. Despite the increase in education access across India, why has there not been a proportional increase of women in the labour market participation ratio. Though the Indian government claims to have taken active steps towards a safer and more inclusive environment for women through empowerment schemes and improving education access to girls and women, the data regarding the number of females in the workforce speaks otherwise. In 2024, only 36 percent of the labour force are women, and it is showing even further decline in some pockets. This research analyses the reasons for the astounding inverse relationship between education advancements in terms of accessibility and women's participation rate. It also touches upon the ground impact of key policy decisions taken by the government in this regard.
