Abstract: This study adopts a data-driven approach to forest fire prediction and monitoring to examine the development, implementation, and outcomes of Korea's Integrated Forest Disaster Management System (FDMS). Against the backdrop of increasing wildfire risks exacerbated by climate change, as well as the unique forested landscape of South Korea, the Korea Forest Service (KFS) has initiated a multiphase project to enhance real-time fire response capabilities through technological integration and interagency collaboration.
