ABSTRACT: In this work, experimental and theoretical study on the molecular structure and the vibrational spectra of Maleic anhydride is presented. The vibrational frequencies of the title compound were obtained theoretically by HF and DFT calculations employing the standard 6-311++G(d,p) basis sets for optimized geometry and were compared with Fourier transform infrared spectrum (FTIR) in the range of 100–4000 cm−1 and with Fourier Transform Raman spectrum in the range of 100–4000 cm−1. Complete vibrational assignments, analysis and correlation of the fundamental modes for the title compound were carried out........

ABSTRACT: NiFe2O4 nanoparticles (NFO) prepared by sol gel process based on the citric acid at room temperature. The structure, microstructure, and magnetic properties of the NFO nanoparticles were studied under the effect of calcinations temperature. The prepared nanoparticles were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared spectra (FTIR), transmission electron microscope (TEM) and vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM) studies were carried out to investigate the formation of crystalline nanosized (NFO) spinel.

ABSTRACT: This study presents new construction design stacks for optimal edge filters of long and short- wave pass using a needle technique as synthesis method. We investigated construction stacks have proper number of layers with controlling the thickness of each layer. In visible-near IR region (0.3-0.9μm), here we intend to investigate solutions for many practical problems. Results appears procedure highest transmittance reach to (100%) with maintained the steepness of edge. Also results demonstrate that our approach is powerful technique enable to offered new design construction with advanced performance where no ripples in passband for wider range of wavelengths.

Title | : | Green Synthesis of Silver Nano Particle Using Hibiscus Rosa Sinensis |
Country | : | India |
Authors | : | Ambili Reveendran || Sanoj Varghese || K.Viswanathan |
ABSTRACT: Green synthesis of silver nanoparticles by the help of green plants is a very cost effective, safe, non-toxic, eco-friendly route of synthesis which can be used for the manufacture at a large scale. The formation of the nanoparticle is identified by the colour change occurred in the solution of silver nitrate after the addition of plant extract. This colour change is due to the property of quantum confinement which is a size dependent property of nanoparticles which affects the optical property of the nanoparticles.......

ABSTRACT: An attempt made to optimize the operating parameters involved in an autogenous pulsed Nd: YAG laser welding process of similar and dissimilar combinations of butt joint of 2 mm thick 316 L stainless steel and mild steel. Influence of prominent laser welding parameters such as average peak power, defocus position, spot position, and shielding gas were investigated for welded joints considered. Thus, parameters are optimized for different combinations of welding joints such as similar 316L stainless steel, similar mild steel and dissimilar 316L stainless steel-mild steel made successfully.

ABSTRACT: The Nield-Kuznetsov integral function is studied in this work and some of its additional properties
and representations are discussed. In particular, its representations in terms of Bessel and Hankel functions are
derived. Ascending series approximations are presented in a form more suitable for computations using Cauchy

Title | : | Determination of the surface free energy of thin films of polyaniline doped with sulfuric acid |

Authors | : | Almedina Modrić-Šahbazović || Izet Gazdić |
ABSTRACT: The aim of this study is to estimate the surface free energy of thin films of polyaniline doped directly in the production process with sulfuric acid, by measuring the contact angle. Synthesis of polyaniline (PANI) was performed at 0°C and at room temperature 20°C. Samples of thin films were obtained by the method of rotating disc at different speeds. Thereafter, the contact angle was measured between ethylene glycol and the film, and distilled water and the film. Based on the angle we calculated polar, disperse and total free surface energy...............

ABSTRACT: The assessment of radioactivity levels of soils samples from Port Said government in Egypt has been studied. The radioactivity level of 15 samples have been measured with a low-background HpGe and RS-230 detector. The radioactivity concentrations of 238U, 232Th and 40K. In order to evaluate the radiological hazard of the natural radioactivity, the radium equivalent activity Raeq, the absorbed dose rate D, the annual effective dose rate and the external hazard index (Hex) have been calculated and compared with the internationally approved values. The study provides background radioactivity concentrations in a Port Said government, specifically in the beaches area.

Title | : | Chaotic Inflation in Spatially Homogeneous Anisotropic Bianchi Type I Space-Time |
Country | : | India |
Authors | : | Raj Bali || Swati Singh |
ABSTRACT: Chaotic inflationary scenario in spatially homogeneous Bianchi Type I space-time following Linde [14] and using power law inflation i.e. R3 = tn, n > 1 Barrow [23], is discussed where R is scale factor. It is found that the inflationary parameters viz. slow roll parameters, non-Gaussianity parameter and anisotropic parameter are in excellent agreement with Planck results for canonical scalar field. It has also been observed that inflation is natural consequence of Chaotic initial conditions in the early universe and chaotic inflationary scenario is realized for anisotropic Bianchi Type I space-time..............

Authors | : | D.O. Ogagarue || J.E. Emudianughe |
ABSTRACT: A ground magnetic survey was carried out in the areas around Omu-Ijelu in the basement complex of southwestern Nigeria, using the Proton precession magnetometer. The aim was to map the magnetic mineralization of the charnokitic dykes in the area and determine their approximate burial depths and lateral extents. Total magnetic field intensity data was acquired along four irregularly spaced E-W traverses at stations spaced 10 m along each traverse. Diurnal correction was applied to the data after which they were smoothed using a running mean technique...............

Country | : | India |
Authors | : | Azharuddin Z. Shaikh || Prabhakar S. Sonawane |
ABSTRACT: Pure Zinc sulphide nanocrystals were synthesized by simple chemical precipitation method. Samples were calcinated at two different temperatures in muffle furnace followed by furnace cooling up to room temperature. XRD analysis confirms that all samples have hexagonal structure with no impurity phases. The lattice parameter, Volume of unit cell, X-ray density and grain size were calculated by using XRD data. The SEM study confirms that, the crystals are agglomerates. The optical energy band gap of ZnS samples were estimated using UV-Visible absorption analysis. The FTIR spectra are carried out to analyze the chemical composition and quality of the compound and peaks............

Title | : | Interaction of Low-Energy Positrons with Mg Atoms: Elastic Scattering, Bound States, and Annihilation |
Country | : | Egypt |
Authors | : | M. M.Abdel-Mageed || H. S. Zaghloul |
ABSTRACT: Annihilations, phase shifts, scattering lengths and elastic cross sections of low energy positrons scattering from magnesium atoms were studied using the least-squares variational method (LSVM). The possibility of positron binding to the magnesium atoms is investigated. A trial wave function is suggested to represent e+-Mg elastic scattering and scattering parameters were derived to estimate the binding energy and annihilation rates. The trial function is taken to depend on several adjustable parameters, and is improved iteratively by increasing the number of terms. The present results have the same behavior as reported semiempirical, theoretical and experimental results. Especially, the estimated positive scattering length supports the possibility of positron-magnesium bound state system that was confirmed in previous experimental and theoretical work.............
