Abstract: The aim of our study is to assess the morbidity and mortality in patients with perforation peritonitis using Mannheims Peritonitis Index (MPI) and to assess its effectiveness. We made a hospital based, prospective, observational study of patients presenting with perforation peritonitis in a tertiary center, Ranchi during the year of 2017-2019.
