Abstract: The importance of ICTs globally and to the instruction and learning process in particular can never be over emphasized. ICT is used to collect, store, edit and pass information to various people in diverse places in various forms, higher education inclusive. The increasingly rapid advances in ICT have and will continue to have profound impact on teachers‟ teaching and how learners comprehend. Abstract: Academic staff plays a vital role in determining the success of the vision and the mission of a university. A positive and healthy university structure results in an increased job satisfaction of the academic staff. The main aim of this research was to determine the relationship between personality traits and job satisfaction among the academic staff. Methods: The research included a sample of 300 university teachers and their assistants (150 female and 150 male) employed at the University of Tetova and the University of Skopje. The age domain of the faculty members was 26 to 65 years, with a mean age of 40.21 (6.36). The Job Satisfaction Inventory (JSS) and the Big Five Inventory (BFI) were used as measuring instruments. The results indicated that the academic staff was more satisfied with their job. There was a positive relationship between extraversion and job satisfaction.....

Abstract: It is estimated that 62.6 percent of Nigerians live below the international poverty line (PPP US$1.25 per day). This translates to about 100 million Nigerians. Against this backdrop, the Buhari Administration launched the National Social Investment Programme (NSIP) in 2016 to tackle the country‟s high rate of poverty and vulnerability. Abstract: The purpose of the study was to analyze the competency of supervisors and their roles in primary and secondary schools of Sidama zone. The study particularly tried to attempt in identifying supports given by supervisors to teachers on pedagogical activities in primary and secondary schools of Sidama Zone. The design of the study was descriptive survey. Both qualitative and quantitative data collection methods were used to collect data from respondents. The research samples consisted of 381 primary and secondary school principals, deputy principals and teachers. Data was collected using questionnaires, semi-structured interviews and document analysis. The data was analyzed using both descriptive and inferential statistics including mean, standard deviation, chi-square and independent t-test. The finding of the study revealed that majority of supervisors is incompetent and week in supporting teachers to promote students' achievement. Abstract: Persons with disabilities (PWDs) have been among the most economically impoverished, socially marginalized, and least visible segments of Ethiopian population. The 2007 census report revealed that Gondar town comprised 2442 disabled persons. However, except this prevalence figure very little was known about these vulnerable groups, and few attempts appeared to analyze their situations. Consequently, this study was initiated and explored their socioeconomic status and associated needs. The main objective of the research was to explore the socioeconomic status and needs of persons with disabilities in the town.To this end, the research used a mixed method approach by employing both quantitative and qualitative methods of data collection.
