Abstract: The Contemporary Liberation Movements In Mindanao Have Sprung Up Since The Independence Of The Philippines In 1945. These Liberation Movements Were Formed As A Direct Consequence To The Brutal Policies, Such As The Jabidah Massacre And The ILAGA-Related Massacres, Perpetuated By The Military Forces And Government-Backed Vigilante Groups. The Research Has Been Undertaken With The Objective Of Exploring Various Factors That Sustain The Long Struggle Of The Bangsamoro People For Self-Determination. Through Numerous Sources And Surveys, It Was Found That Islam Has Been The Thrusting Force Behind The Liberation Movements In Mindanao. The Bangsamoro People In General Support Any Movement That Epitomizes Islam In Its Cause.

Abstract:The present study was conducted to assess the physical health status of female construction workers of Kathua District of J&K. The core sample for the study comprised 120 female construction workers equally divided in two age group viz, 20-30 and 30-40 years. The selected construction workers were required to be performing construction activities for at least past 2 years. The tools used for the data collection were an interview schedule, C.M.I. health questionnaire and an observation checklist. Results reveal that majority of the sample female workers had moderate level of problems related to various health dimensions namely, eyes, musculo skeletal system, skin,

Abstract:The purpose of this paper is to examine the disability understanding and perceptions towards physical people within the context of South India, drawing upon both secondary published sources, as well as interviews conducted with disabled people and their families in Andhra Pradesh. The paper compares and contrasts the experiences of disabled people in relation to the medical and social models of disability. Specifically, the paper will consider community attitudes encountered by disabled people and their families in both rural and urban areas; the relation between poverty, employment and disability; the issue of marriage and sexual relations of disabled people; and the apparent gender bias in the provision of community-based disability services in the South Indian context.

Abstract:Indian society, undoubtedly, is marching ahead at the path of development but still assigns traditional roles to the woman. Woman cannot come out of these customary roles because of conservative outlook of the male dominated society. She is imprisoned in the four walls of the house where there is no one else to share her grief. Even if she is provided with the material comforts, she, the voiceless, tries hard to let others listen to her agony which goes unheard in most of the cases.
