Authors | : | Dr. W. Kunjarani Chanu || Dr. LM Meitei |
Abstract: Moreover, domestic violence against WLHIV is happening to be natural phenomena. Such HIV women largely vulnerable groups of poor family have been waiting the last breath of life. In the one sense, they can‟t have equal opportunity, equality before law, privacy, liberty, economy and social security and more particularly right to life and human dignity as social stigma and other forms of violence (sexual, physical, verbal) rounded against them. Women were invariably considered weak, vulnerable and in a position to be exploited. On the other, the question of domestic violence against PLHA has also another issue despite numerous countless issues in Manipur. Most of the PLHA are from poor families except some persons so they cannot afford or draw attention for their health care while they have facing different issues like stigma and discrimination..........

Abstract: The family in the contemporary society has changed in form and content as compared to those of the yester years. The change can be witnessed through the rampant growth in strange modes of parenting which were hitherto uncommon especially among the Africans. This treatise explicates single mode of parenting particularly that of widowed single fathers and mothers with an aim of examining the challenges inherent in this mode of parenting. The paper also creates awareness that single parents are not just single mothers but includes single fathers as well.

Title | : | Understanding Romans 1:26-27 in the Light of Homosexuality and its implicationsamong Christians in Nigeria |
Country | : | Ogun State |
Authors | : | Ikechi Chidi Ekpendu |
Abstract: - Homosexuality refer to sexual acts between people of the same gender. The practice of homosexuality is gradually creeping into Christianity and seems to be welcomed by some Christians in Nigeria which has caused laxity to Christian morality and its consequences centering their claims that Paul never condemned the act in Romans chapter 1. There appear to be a misunderstanding and relegation in the understanding of Romans 1:26-27 as it has to do with homosexuality and the consequences of engaging in this act in Christian life.The paper sought to inquire on the notion of homosexuality, discover the right interpretation of the text in context and the penalties for Christians engaging in the act. Historical exegetical Method of inquiry was used in this study. It was discovered that the homosexuality in the text does not in any way support its practice among Christians in Nigeria but rather condemned as ungodliness which has spiritual, psychological and health/Physical implications for its practice.

Abstract: - During the formative years of the Turkish Republic, urban spaces which were built as a key instrument for the State, played an important role in cities of Turkey as well as modern buildings. As the settlement of Republic was enlarged, the urban spaces of the nation-state has received significant attention. This article focuses on one of the urban spaces of squares in Turkey named "İzmir Cumhuriyet Meydanı" located in Konak neighborhood between Alsancak and Çankaya regions which I consider relevant for the aspect of new state. It was originally designed in 1932 by German architect and city planner Hermann Jansen as "Gazi Meydanı" and then transformed to "Cumhuriyet Meydanı" at the mid 50's of twentieth century in the third largest city in Turkey
