Abstract: A heavy violation of human right, war, and several other international crimes have become serious problems at the moment. It is crucial to understand the procedures in resolving those problems. In solving an International crime, there is a famous principle called non-retroactive principle whose position in the international criminal law enforcement in relation to international crimes should be well comprehended. This study employs normative approach which is conducted through library analysis by reviewing existing relevant literature. The result reveals that the application of non-retroactive is not an absolute principle, except in some cases applied either heavily or lightly on criminals. It is expected that the enforcement of International criminal law, particularly to ensnare the doers of International crimes, should retain the non-retroactive principle as a protection toward the human rights.

Abstract: Patuas‟ or "Chitrakars‟ are common words in the district of Paschim Medinipur of West Bengal. They are scroll painters. It is very interesting that those scroll painters are professional artists by caste rather than craftsmen. This art has been practised since thousand years ago. Many old texts (Patanjali‟s Mahabhasya, Kautylia‟s Arthashastra and Buddhist text Aryamanjushreemulakalpa etc.) or archeological evidences throw lights on the patuas as endogamous community. The evidence of the presence of occupational caste (chitrakars) in Bengal is found in Brahmavaivarta Purana - those were converted into Islam during Pala and Sena periods. In this period the supremacy of Brahmins ostracized many endogamous communities like Patuas. As a result some complex features were found in the lifestyle of patuas and then they were treated as outcaste. It is interesting to say that after independence Government of.......

Abstract: Adequate access to water and sanitation is an assurance of good health and stable community. An increase of slums in an urban environment is an impediment to sustainable development. To meet the challenges of WASH projects failure, sustainability concept forms the basis for the study. Despite several initiatives by the government and other agencies through projects, sanitation remains a challenge, especially in slum areas. Efforts put by various stakeholders in upgrading the slum through water, sanitation, and hygiene projects are of no use if they stop after a period. The purpose of this study, therefore, was to establish the influence of community participation on sustainability of water and sanitation projects within the slum of Rhonda in Nakuru. The study targeted a population of 296 households. A 30% sample size was used to select respondents. The sampling technique used was........

Abstract: In this essay, we worry about discussing the issue attribution: Who did what to whom? What looks silly and obvious may actually be the worst problem we have, and this is the case here: From stealing computerstoDarknets, we have a range of possibilities that may make attribution impossible, and we must still match those with gravity of cyber attacks (from naivest to most sophisticated). To the side of the investigative authority, we also have a range of possibilities. One of the least exploited ones might be the best investment: Crowdsourcing matched with an improved version of the IBM i2 Analyst‟s Notebook. We here explore uncommon paths to track marginals and try to make a good case in favor of each one of those. We also talk about a few glitches with the IBM i2 Analyst‟s Notebook and the paradox of enforcement.

Abstract: Gandhi‟s concept of religion occupies an important place in socio-political philosophy in general and contemporary Indian philosophy in particular. His concept of religion introduces uniformity and equality. Gandhi thinks that there exists a close relationship between religion and morality. Religion which fails to work out the problems of man cannot be called a religion. His dream is to live at peace and harmony with companion and enemy or rival. His doctrine of ahimsa is a step on the flight of unending free will and calm. Even he equates politics with Dharma. For him man‟s intrinsic propensity is to triumph over evil to achieve Truth is God. Religion instructs man how he achieves the Truth. It is possible by the realization of God. One is correct on his way if he is following the path of love to attain the truth is God.

Abstract: This research analyses the effects of democracy on human development in sub-Saharan Africa. Theoretically, the idea of development of freedom is incorporated into the classical debate of democracy's impact on development. Empirically, this is tested in a number of quantitative methods and regression models covering the period 1990-2014. Democracy is measured by Freedom House's political rights and civil liberties.
Human development is measured by Human Development Index (HDI) factors, such as the Education Index,
Life expectancy at birth (LEB) and Gross National Income (GNI). This study covers 48 sub-Saharan African countries and the results support the hypothesis that democracy is the variable with the greatest variance on human development. Moreover, the results indicate that democracy has positive effects on changes in human development. This finding strongly supports the claim that human development is compatible with and even strengthened by political democracy.

Abstract: Recent years have been marked by increased studies in crime, punishment and prisons. Many of these works have argued that punishment and imprisonment of criminals does very little to alter criminal behavior and that even with the modern policy changes in prisons, little is expected in terms of criminal behavioral change. While some scholars agree on the fact that religion in general and Christianity in particular can cause transformation of adult criminal behavior in rehabilitative and corrective institutions, the wider society still appears to be dissuaded from this possibility. This situation seems to leave the case of transformation especially of ex-prisoners in a quagmire. This paper examines the disconnect that exists in view between the rehabilitative and corrective roles.............
