Abstract: The paper presents the issue of the dispute between the upper class Brahmins and the lower class Dalits on the matter of touching the water of the only well in the village as presented in the play. The hypocrisy in the play is shown by how the upper class people keep the village in their hands and keep the situation in their favor as per the need of the hour. They can rebuke a person and then in their time of need, they might also request the same person to do as per their bidding. When this is understood, the "Dalits‟ revolt – and they win their right to one of the most essential elements of life – Water.

Abstract: The study investigated the prevalence of autism in Ekiti State. The rationale for this study was as a result of the rising concern about autism worldwide. The awareness of the people about this disorder is still very limited. Most parents and teachers are yet to get an understanding of its diagnosis, symptoms and effects at home and school environments. This lack of understanding of this complex neuro-developmental disorder that affects a child's social interaction, communication and behaviour has become pertinent for the present study to be carried out. Survey research design was adopted; six (6) research questions were generated. The samples were 467children and 210 parents. Descriptive statistics was used to analyse the data collected. The results revealed that autism exists among the sample used, that boys are more afflicted with the disorder than girls. Autism differs in occurrence with the age of pupils and the level of awareness of parents is highly low. Based on the findings, recommendations were made.

Abstract: The paper examines the executive-legislative relations concerning 2016 budgetary process, which have slowed down the pace of governance in Nigeria. The paper identifies obstruction of quality administration to include corruption and profligacy. Thus, the central argument of the paper is that good governance can only be achieved if public office holders acknowledge the fact that they are peoples‟ representatives. To ensure effective government therefore, there is need to appoint competent persons to assume leadership roles; strict adherence to provisions of the constitution regarding budget preparation and implementation, fiscal discipline and proper consultation of people on constituency projects.
