Abstract: The African continent has witnessed various revivalism and reform movements or (al-Islah wa al-Tajdid). These movements embarked on purifying Islam from the impurities of innovation and blind imitation. However, some of these reform movements hid under the banner of Mahdiyyah (messianism) to bring about the desired reform and re-establish Islamic state. In the case of Muhammad Ibn Abdullah (popularly known as Ibn Tumart), Mahdism was the backbone and central pillar of his movement. It is the political weapon he used to fight Moravids and overthrow their regime in North Africa............

Abstract: Environmental problems remain the emerging issues of the day. Environmental degradation invites danger to the planet earth and the life of its inhabitants. It is the time to realise problems and to find out its solution otherwise no longer our lives will remain protected. In such a challenging situation, preservation of environment is a must. To my knowledge till now no philosophical attempt has been taken to solve the problems.............

Abstract: This study has done a systematic analysis of shifts in production pattern of industries to understand environmental connotation associated with liberalisation. Pollution data is regressed on output data. Post liberalisation period (1991-2013) data is compared to that of pre liberalisation (1973-1991). We have found that there has been slight increase in the level of industrial air and water pollution load in post reform period whereas increase has been higher in case of toxic and metal pollution load. This shows that in post reform period, India has become more specialized in the production from polluting industries relative to less polluting industries.

Abstract: Learning is acquisition of new knowledge, skills or attitude. Children during their early years of development learn to understand the spoken language first and then learn to speak. Subsequently during their school years they learn to read, write and do arithmetic according to their age and intellectual capacity. But some children may not be able to learn one or more of these skills as per their age and intellectual capacity. There are some children, who, in spite of having normal intellectual capacity and unimpaired visual, hearing or physical abilities are unable to acquire one or more age appropriate language and/or arithmetic skills, even when adequate opportunities for learning are provided. These children have Specific Learning Disorder (SpLD) or Learning Disability. Inability to learn certain skills is not restricted only to reading

Abstract: Henry David Thoreau is usually considered as a representative figure who advocated and practiced nonviolent resistance against social evils. But as matter of fact, his essay not only influenced social reform leaders who insisted on using nonviolent means to achieve their political goals, but also social reformers who used violent means. This paper is an attempt to try to examine and explain the changes that Thoreau underwent.

Abstract: The study examined the impact of crude oil revenue on the growth of the Nigerian economy between (1960-2010). Hence the specific objectives are to ascertain the extent of economic growth impacted by the oil proceeds and multinational oil companies in Nigeria. And also to establish the long run relationship between crude oil proceeds and Gross domestic product (GDP). The findings revealed the extent of economic growth impacted by the oil industries was significant based on the ordinary least square (OLS) regression analysis result where the calculated F-Statistics of (212.1293) is greater the tabulated F-statistics of (5.35147). The study also found the long run positive relationship between oil revenue and gross domestic product.
