Abstract: Background:There is a worldwide and local outcry as a result of the youth' escalating acts of meaninglessness and deviant behavior. The Kenyan government through the commission on human rights, the judiciary and ministry of education is focused on addressing these issues. It was not known how much the families, friends and significant others (social support), who are directly involved in shaping students' ethical values and pro-social behaviors are empowered and involved as equal partners in this campaign.
