Abstract: The rise and establishment of Mumias Sugar Company (1971) and Nzoia Sugar Company (1976) in Western region of Kenya came in with many changes in role performance at household level. Sugar production and industrialization became the basis on which gender roles were informed in the region. However, economic challenges such as low production capacities, lack of clear harvesting schedules, huge debts, managerial inefficiency, cane poaching, unreliable and fluctuating weather conditions, outdated technology, equipment and machinery, facing the sugar industry have led to poor performance of the industry hence changing gender roles at household level. This study therefore aims to assess the changing gender roles in a declining economy of Western region of Kenya........

Abstract: The main purpose of Nigeria Correctional Centre is to provide services that reform and rehabilitate inmates. Unfortunately, the inmates in the Correctional Facilities in Nigeria are faced with a lot of challenges ranging from welfare to health. This studyis aimed at examining correctional health workers' aggressive behaviour and the wellbeing of the inmates in Enugu Correctional Service. The study is a qualitative study where only in-depth interview was adopted. The population of the study is 2130 inmates and 11 health workers and the sample size for the study is 337 respondents. Abstract: Although migration has indeed been a constant in the evolution of groups around the world, global capitalism and neoliberal policies today determine the origin and destination of migrants. What questions the decision to migrate as an independent and voluntary act. In the same way that the feminization of migration has been discussed, the migration of children and adolescents, accompanied or not, appears as an emerging group in the migratory phenomenon. This reflects the Central American migration of children and adolescents in transit through Mexico, as well as the danger they face during this process. It is a social problem that needs to be made visible to identify possible care alternatives, both in places of origin and in transit and destination.

Abstract: Cartoon has always been a lovable content among the children. Whenever they see any cartoons program on the TV channel, they feel very happy and enjoy the moment. However, cartoons have both positive and negative sides. This paper is mostly based on the effect of cartoons on pre-schooler children and collect opinion about the cartoon as a teaching tool. A descriptive survey method conducted with the help of purposive sampling technique 60 parents of pre-schooler children and 60 pre-schooler teachers were selected as sample. Abstract: Status of women in a community and society determines how much enriched a community is. Each and every right and dignity of a woman shows the maturity of a civilisation. Different tribal communities of North-East India have their own prejudices towards the women of their communities. In Tripura Tripuri women are consisting of both the features of Aruntawomen of East Africa and Iroquois women of upper New York. Though the society is matrilocal but women have very limited access to socio-political rights. In this case study there would be an attempt to reflect the life of women from Tripuri community. Its main objective is to find out the contemporary status and position of Tripuri women in Tripura's rural and urban areas.

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to analyze the settlement of land crimes through restorative justice in the South Sulawesi Regional Police. The type of research that will be conducted is descriptive research with a combination of normative legal research. The results of the study indicate that the settlement of land crimes through restorative justice in the South Sulawesi Regional Police is essentially an implementation of police discretion, realizing peace between the parties and accelerating the principle of simple, fast and low-cost justice. Settlement of land crimes through restorative justice in the South Sulawesi Regional Police is less effective because there are still many cases of land crimes that continue to be pro-justice

Abstract: This exploratory research aims to get a high-level understanding of the factors that encourage or discourage the writing efforts of Indian women authors. A list of such factors was first obtained through qualitative secondary research, and both quantitative and qualitative feedback was obtained on these factors by designing a questionnaire that was administered to an illustrative set of Indian women authors. The study was designed to determine the average percentage scores for encouraging and discouraging factors for each respondent, and also whether a majority or minority of respondents experienced each particular factor. The results indicate that a majority of the survey respondents faced an overall unsupportive environment in their creative writing efforts.

Abstract: The objective of this article is to trace some historical patterns regarding the role of international short-term credits during the major economics events involving the external debt of Brazil in the Twentieth Century. We intend to evaluate the degree to which capital inflow into Brazil was speculative in selected historic periods. We want to see to what extent short-term resources financed the Current Account gap (FE gap) throughout these selected periods. Our thesis is that in the periods, that ended in debt crises; speculative short-term capital flows had a substantial share in the financing of the FE gap. As we will see, they were present with more intensity in sub periods characterized by economic instability. The backdrop of these crises were major political turmoil in the country. As policy proposal, this article provides a framework for the defense of developing countries capital controls..

Abstract: Aravalli Range, hill system of northern India, running northeasterly for 350 miles (560 km) through Rajasthan state. Isolated rocky offshoots continue to just south of Delhi. The series of peaks and ridges, with breadths varying from 6 to 60 miles (10 to 100 km), are generally between 1,000 and 3,000 feet (300 and 900 metres) in elevation. The system is divided into two sections: the Sambhar-Sirohi ranges, taller and including Guru Peak on Mount Abu, the highest peak in the Aravalli Range (5,650 feet [1,722 metres]); and the Sambhar-Khetri ranges, consisting of three ridges that are discontinuous. The Aravalli Range is rich in natural resources (including minerals) and serves as a check to the growth of the western desert.
