Abstract: A quasi experimental study with pre and post test without control group design was undertaken on 100 male alcoholic patients in de-addiction centre of MHI, SCB, Cuttack, Odisha, to assess the effectiveness video assisted teaching module on progressive muscle relaxation technique to relieve anxiety among alcoholic patients. The samples were selected by purposive sampling technique. Data were collected from 24.06.2014 to 07.07.2014 through DAAS scale. The data collected were analyzed by using descriptive and inferential statistics.Findings revealed that in pre-test the highest (67%) of the alcoholic patient had panic level of anxiety related to physical factor and highest 45% of them had severe level of anxiety in economical factor. whereas in post test none of them had panic level of stress related to any factor.

Abstract: Diabetes is a challenging disease to be managed successfully. So, regimen adherence problems are common in individuals with diabetes, thus making glycaemic control difficult to attain. The aim of this study was to determine the occurrence of non- adherence to life style modification amongst type 2 diabetes mellitus patients. Methods: Subjects: A purposive sample of all diabetic patients 30 years or older diagnosed with type 2 diabetes mellitus and on clinic care for two or more years who contact the Internal Medicine Clinic in Sheben El-kom Teaching Hospital were included in this study. Instruments: It consisted of self administered questionnaire: It included two constructed tools; 1) questionnaire for socio demographic data including age, educational level, employment, and marital status, …etc. 2) Lifestyle Questionnaire consisted of yes/no and multiple-choice questions related to perceptions related to lifestyle modification recommendations of diet & exercise, adherence/non- adherence to lifestyle modification recommendations, social and environmental variables as reasons for non- adhering to life style modification of diet & exercise.

These injuries with sharps may lead to dangerous hazards such as infections with hepatitis B&C and HIV. Aim: This study was conducted to assess the effect of educational program on knowledge and practice of undergraduate nursing students toward prevention of needle stick and sharp injuries during clinical training. Abstract: The study was conducted on female secondary school students to assess the abusive behaviors among females .A descriptive design was carried throughout the present study from 3rd March ,2015, to 16th April 2015.A stratified random sample of (350) students female was selected from Baghdad governorate Secondary Schools. A questionnaire was constructed for the purpose of the study. It was comprised from information about demographic characteristics of the female students and behaviors practiced by student itself inside and outside the classroom. Internal consistency reliability was employed through computation of alpha correlation coefficient. Content validity of the questionnaire was determined through panel of experts. Data were collected through application of the interview technique. Data were analyzed through descriptive statistical data analysis approach (Frequency and percentage) and inferential statistical data analysis approach (Chi square test, and the correlation coefficient).

Abstract: Objectives: We evaluated patients' and nurses' perspectives on patients' rights among Egyptian patients and nurses. Methods:We used a descriptive design was done on (100 nurses and 100 patients).We Multivariable logistic regression analysis identified correlates of patients' rights and age, experience, gender, and education. Results:The results implied that statistically significant differences between nurses and patients regarding perception of patient's rights. Also there was a significant statistically between the opinions of patients and education level.

Abstract: Aim: This study aimed to assess the effects of prenatal Perineal Massage and Kegel exercise on the episiotomy rate. Subjects and Methods: Randomize controlled trial was carried out at Antenatal Outpatient Clinic and Labour and Delivery Ward at El Mansoura University Hospital, Egypt. This study comprised a random study sample of180 pregnant mothers out of randomized 225was recruited for this study according to certain criteria who were between 18 and 35 years of age, 35 gestational weeks, expected to vaginal delivery. They were randomly assigned to three groups; Perineal Massage(50 women), Kegel exercise(60 women) and control (70 women).Four tools were used for data collection: Data Collection Form included REEDA Scale, Kegel Exercise Training Hand Out, Prenatal Perineal Massage Learning Guide, Labour and Follow up Assessment Sheet were used.

Abstract: Low birth weight neonates are the special group which requires extra attention and care; they need continuous warmth and tender care, as they are in the womb. A pre-experimental research approach was utilized to evaluate the effectiveness of the structured teaching programme regarding care of low birth weight babies in terms of knowledge of postnatal mothers in Choithram Hospital & Research Centre & Mission hospital, Indore. Total 30 postnatal mothers were selected by purposive sampling technique who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria.
