Abstract: The dispute of job stress among nurses is one of the core concerns in the field of psychiatric nursing, it was found that stress brought harmful impacts on both nurses' health and their ability to cope with job demands. The aim of this study was to examine the level of job stress among registered psychiatric nurses working in different psychiatric units of a major governmental psychiatric hospital located at the central region of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. A descriptive correlation cross section research design was utilized on a convenience sample of 137 psychiatric nurses.
