Abstract: An experimental study was undertaken to assess and compare effectiveness of foot massage and back massage in reducing blood pressure among hypertensive patients admitted in Medicine ward at tertiary care Hospital, Bhubaneswar. Objective:Tocomparetheeffectivenessoffootmassage&backmassageamongthehypertensivepatient. Methodology:Evaluative and comparative research approach was adapted. Abstract: The present study was aimed to evaluate the effect of utilizations measures by mothers on relieving their minor discomforts during the first trimester of pregnancy. Setting: the study was conducted at antenatal clinic at Benha university hospital. Design: AQuasi-experimental designwas used. Sample: Purposive sample included 280 prime para with normal pregnancy & single- intra uterine fetus in the first trimester of pregnancy. Free from medical and gynecological disease. Data collection: A structured interviewing questionnaire and likert scale. Results: the present study revealed that was a highly significant relation between pregnant mothers knowledge and their attitude toward utilization measures to relieve minor discomforts. Generally, 55% among the studied sample had correct knowledge about minor discomfort and utilization measures to relieve those, similarly 54% of mothers had positive attitude toward utilization measures. The utilization measures by studied sample have amoderate&mild& severe degree of relief.........

Abstract: Indonesia is the fifth largest population country of 249 million people and one of the cause is high birth rate. To overcome this, the government runs the Family Planning program. According to RISKESDAS, 46.87% of reproductive age women who use injectable contraception and 6.4% -7.7% experienced decreased of bone density, causing the decrease of calcium as one of bone mineral component. Objective: To determine the difference between blood calcium level on Depo Medroxy Progesterone Acetate hormonal contraception users for 2 years with non DMPA users. Methods: This study is an analytic study with cross sectional design conducted at Puskesmas Johor Medan, from June 2017-August 2017. 60 study subjects were divided into non DMPA users group and DMPA users group. Abstract: Background: Of safe motherhood initiative program, Keluarga Berencana (KB) is expected to reduce fertility rate in Indonesia. Injectable hormonal contraceptive, known as DMPA is believed to have failure rate of <0.5%. One of DMPA side effects is irregular bleeding in term of coagulation factors disruption. Abstract: Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) is the cause of Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS) which transmits through sexual contacts, exposure to infected blood or blood components, needle stick injury, and prenatally from mother to neonate. About 2.1 million of people under the age of 15 have acquired HIV through mother to child transmission .HIV prevalence in Sudan was 0.67% after the separation in 2011. Abstract: Background: Mostly patients with oral nutritional problems are fed through a nasogastric tube which considered a method of enteral nutrition. They have different types of complications as diarrhea, vomiting, constipation, lung aspiration, and tube dislodgement. Aim: The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of gravity feeding versus bolus feeding technique on gastrointestinal disturbance among stroke patients. Design: Quasi-experimental research design was used in this study. Subjects: A convenience sample of 60 adults patients with stroke and nasogastric tube feeding. Divided alternatively into to two groups, control group receive bolus feeding, and study group who receive feeding by gravity method. Abstract: A Pre-Experimental One Group Pre-test Post-test study was conducted to assess the Effectiveness of Planned Teaching Program on Knowledge regarding side effects of Chemotherapy and its coping strategies among 200 patients admitted in cancer unit of Pt.BDS, PGIMS, Rohtak, Haryana by using simple random sampling technique. Structured knowledge questionnaire was used to assess the knowledge of patients. The findings of the study revealed that the mean post-test scores were significantly higher than mean pre-test scores.

Abstract: The study is aimed at forging a transformation in the clinical orientation of nursing and midwifery practice in Ghana by enabling an integration of a comprehensive physical assessment as a crucial training and service delivery component of nursing and midwifery in the Ghana health care system. The use of comprehensive physical assessmentin nursing service delivery in Ghana, though taught as a component of courses, it is rarely practiced by nurses and midwives in Ghana.
