Abstract: Tuberculosis is caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis that most often affect the lungs and it is completely curable, preventable one. Globally in 2015, the world had an estimated 10.4 million new tuberculosis cases. The overall success rate of tuberculosis treatment in the WHO South-East Asia Region stood at 79% in 2015, the lowest in the last five years, largely because, India's private sector healthcare system accounting for a large proportion of tuberculosis patients did not report to the National tuberculosis Programme. So every effort is being made to engage the private sector in India and improve the quality of care provided by private practitioners.Public private partnerships play very effective role in eliminating tuberculosis. By implementing this we will get hand full of cases and there is no chance for missing cases and will enhance to reduce the tuberculosis mortality and prevention of Drug Resistant Tuberculosis.

Abstract: Breast cancer is a serious disease with potential high morbidity and mortality. It is the commonest malignancy in women. Approximately one million new cases of breast cancer are diagnosed each year worldwide. Breast cancer is the commonest cancer among women in Egypt. Late presentations of breast cancer cases have been consistent for three decades. The efficacy of breast self-examination in helping to reduce mortality from breast cancer has not been rigorously demonstrated. The study was designed to evaluate the effect of breast self-examination training program on the knowledge, attitude and practice of breast self-examination among female nursing students in Faculty of Nursing, Alexandria University, Egypt. The research hypothesis showed that, the knowledge, attitude and practice of female nursing students in Faculty of Nursing, Alexandria University, Egypt will be improved after implementation of the structured training program. Methods: A quasi experimental design was utilized in this study.................

Abstract: Background: Smoking is regarded as a social activity but with adverse effects. This study investigated the cardiac status of active tobacco smokers in Nnewi, South Eastern, Nigeria. Methods: A total of 100 subjects compromising of 50 apparently healthy active and non- smokers respectively were recruited for the study. Their blood pressure readings and weight were obtained. Well – structured questionnaire was used to obtain their bio-data. Blood sample was collected from each subject and estimated for apolipoproteins (Apo A-1, Apo B), creatine kinase –MB (CK-MB) and Troponin I. Standard routine analyses were used for estimation of parameters. Data obtained were statistically analyzed using student t-test and Pearson r correlation................

Abstract: Death of women during pregnancy, delivery and postpartum period often preventable remains a serious health burden in developing countries. One major factor responsible for high maternal and neonatal deaths in developing countries is ignorance which has impeded healthy health seeking behaviour among pregnant women. This study seeks to investigate awareness of pregnant women about danger signs in pregnancy, labour and postpartum periods and its effect on their choice of delivery facility. This study is carried out in Oshimili South Local Government Area of Delta State, Nigeria. It adopts an exploratory design to investigate the influence of knowledge on choice of delivery facility. Questionnaires were used to obtain data from a sample of 100 pregnant women. Data analyzed were presented using frequencies, percentages and charts. Results show that 71.0% of respondents............

Abstract: Dengue virus (DENV) has emerged as major health concern, as DENV infection has been shown to be associated with severe disease symptoms. As the largest protein component within the DENV replication complex, NS5 plays key roles in the life cycle and survival of the virus through its N‐terminal methyltransferase (MTase) and C‐terminal RNA‐dependent RNA polymerase (RdRp) domains. Here, we present the blast result of DENV NS5 RdRp. We have identified the conserved features of DENV NS5 RdRp structures that could lead to development of current antiviral inhibitors being used against dengue virus, including flaviviruses. Our structural analysis should inform and accelerate the structure‐based design of antiviral compounds against DENV.This leads to the identification of a potential drug-binding site of DENV NS5, which might facilitate the development of novel antivirals for DENV..
